ACKNOWLEGMENTS

This big project is a synergistic product of many minds of our member. It began when in the beginning of assignment as we were discussing about what product we should conduct. We started it from the beginning, the whole things came up originally from our thoughts. We are so grateful for the inspiration and wisdom of many thinkers and for a ton of helps from God.

We are also grateful for the work-team-mate at London School of Public Relation and specially our lecturer, Mrs. Roennfeld, Sylvia who has given the opportunity and encouragments to do this big project, paper-due and presentation about related product.

The material and arrangement within this paper hopefully can give a hand for those who have passion in studying deeply about Public Relation especially in Product Launching Section Part.

For this assignment itself we feel a deep sense of gratitude until can not express it to everyone who has given ideas, materials, spirits, minds, and so many things. God bless you.

Coca-cola, Nike, Mercedes, and Levi's... all of them are well known companies. The question that anyone can ask is that « why are all these companies popular? » the answer can differ from one to another, but the best one in my opinion is the use of advertising. Sure, all of them have good products to sell, but the principal factor behind their popularity is advertisement. Almost every one agrees that advertisement is an essential factor behind the success of any product even if it has some inconvenient. To make a product more popular, there are different ways to advertise it such as television, radio, journal... In this paper, I will emphasize on advertisements in magazine and especially Mercedes cars ones. Mercedes cars advertisement's differs from one magazine to another and this depends on three factors. The fist one is the type of magazine; the second is what the advertisers want to reflect as a message; and the third is to which public this magazine is addressed, but this doesn't exclude the existence of some similarities.…

There has long been disputed over the role and differences of Public Relations and Marketing. There are many clear and distinct differences between these two disciplines. They each function individually in business and social environments. Public Relations and Marketing are often strongest when used together, but many professionals and academics feel the need to choose one over the other. The outlines of Public Relations and Marketing are different. Marketing is concerned with the market which entails consumers and demand. Public Relations is interested in relationships by reducing conflict and improving cooperation between internal and external stakeholders (Cohen, 2012). Good Public Relations will create a healthy environment for Marketing,…

Theories predict the way things work or happen. They provide an understanding of the relationship between actions and events. As a public relations practitioner, you will need to be able to explain why and how your plans and proposals will work. Your supervisor and your coworkers will be more convinced to support your opinions if you have theories and evidence to back them up.A theory is a prediction of how events and actions are related. For example, Public relation reporter described as a failure a federally funded message campaign to frighten kids off drugs. Research showed that kids who reported seeing the ads were using marijuana even more than those who had not seen the ads. What caused this waste of $180 million a year? One expert said, “Scaring kids doesn’t work. When people try pot for the first time, they wonder what the big deal is. Then, they don’t believe the other stuff. The ads are not realistic.”This opinion reflects a great deal of theory on the use of fear appeals. Fear appeals theory predicts that there will be little change with an overreliance on fear appeals that threaten physical harm. More persuasive are balanced arguments with incentives for changing behavior. This prediction is called a theory. As a public relations manager, you should have knowledge of different theories so that you can make…
