Did you know that same sex couples don't get the same benefits as different sex couples (same sex couples should have access to the same benefits enjoyed by all hetero sexual married couples). There are ll38 benefits, rights and protections available to married couples in federal law alone,according to a general accounting office assessment (same sex couples should have access to the same benefits enjoed by all hetero sexual marnied couples). The reason that they don't have these rights is because same people's religious beliefs and political view are biased toward gays (Raimondo). The point is that people in the lgbtq should have the rights that they deserve.
Even though these people don't have these rights there are many organizations that will fight for them. The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force other known as NGLTF is an organization that provides contact and information for states and local legislative issues. Two consenting homosexual adults are illegal in some states. However, the government has taken the human rights cause and turned it into a political allegiance on clan loyalties instead of philosophical principles. Today gay rights’ activists see the government as an agency not an enemy (Raimondo). ll people should support the LGBTQ because everyone deserves gender equally. Educating yourself about using appropriate behavior and terms is very important to the LGBTQ we also need to be in contact with the local law legislative and parents need to support transgender policy in schools and make sure that schools are protecting them (Berg).Be physically present for them, Donate to LGBTQ organizations,Get involved in pta meetings,Recognize that queer people and Contact your local lawmakers
