Brief overview of the organization
Why did we choose to study the case of Pret A Manger? First, because the company is a really successful business, particularly in the UK where the brand is well-known. Secondly, it is interesting to study how this brand has planned to face the increasing competition on the fast food market (Eat keeps opening new stores, Starbucks starts selling sandwiches and even Sainsbury and M&S are places where people go and buy their lunch).

Pret A Manger is a British company created in London in 1986 by two friends, Sinclair BEECHAM and Julian METCALFE. Pret, as this company is more commonly called, is a
