A man named Michael Hammer once said, “A successful Career will no longer be about promotion. It will be about mystery” Michael Hammer meant a successful career will not about about you being promoted.It will be about the strange things you do and what you enjoy. In my opinion I think Career Counselor has more benefits than those who work as Podiatrist. Also as a Career Counselor you help people physically and mentally. Personally I like helping people because it makes me feel better and makes me feel closer to the world. The comparison of Podiatrist and Career Counselor reveals that a Career Counseling has more benefits than those who work in the field of Podiatrist. In other to become a Podiatrist you need a 3 years of college. You also need a high school credits in Biology ,Physics ,Chemistry and English. You need 2 to 4 years of residency training after college, and a you also have to take the MCAT test to prove that you are ready to proceed in your career .and residency training after college. Moreover you need to earn a Doctor of Podiatrist Medicine degree.On the other hand to become a Career Counselor you need a 4 years bachelor’s degree in Counseling or psychology Next you need to pass a test and have the right education to be certified.
Podiatrist and Career Counselling both have median wages and opportunities to advance and change Job locations.The median wages of Podiatrist locally is $171,135 and nationally is $125,000. Podiatrist is expected to grow to 10 percent from 2016 to 2026. Likewise Podiatrist, Career Counselors have a median salary of $18.75 hourly and $38,990 annually. The field of Career Counselling is expected to grow to 11 percent from 2016 to 2026. Also you can advance in this job by becoming Director of Counseling.
