Physical Exercise Is Much More Important for the Old Than the Young. Agree/Disagree?
The elderly do need exercise but a small amount such as walking while people who are middle age should do more especially in order to maintain their body fat and heart condition. However, as young people are very active and have the rest of their lives to live, having large amounts of exercise in their lives can only benefit them. Therefore in my opinion, I disagree with the above statement for the following 3 reasons.

First, young people have a longer life to live and carry more social responsibility, thus they need exercise in order to keep a relatively strong body condition. Young generation plays a very important role in the society, such as raising the child, taking care of the old and paying tax to support the entire social system. Because the society requires the young to dedicate more than the old, it’s more crucial for youngsters to maintain a physically strong health condition, and exercise is one of the best ways to achieve that.

Second, young people have less opportunity of exercise in nowadays’ society compare to their parents or grand parents’ generation. For example, people used to ride a bicycle when the time my parents went to work, now many people drive to work. Before, we write a letter and went to post office to deliver it, now emails save us time and energy. It is true that an advanced high tech society brings a lot of benefits to our life, it has also changed our life style. “Eat more, move less” life sytle results in more obesity and poor health condition, it is vital for the young to exercise more in order to maintain their health condition.

Last not the least, exercise can ease pressure. Young people have a bigger chance to be frustrated from daily work or the pressure from the family, but they can ease the pressure by simply doing some exercise. When the time I feel down and enable to achieve a good sleep, I will put on my training wear and simply run. After that, surprisingly I feel much better and able to sleep just as great as

Exercise or constant activity has always been the last word or among the first recommendations in countering the signs of aging. The aging that has been associated with exercise is termed as biological age and is used to mean as our age that is physiological rather than chronological, and it includes factors like changes in the physical structure of the body as well as changes in the performance of motor skills and sensory awareness.1 Exercise has been considered the fountain of youth to some as they claim that exercise help them look and feel young, or something measurable as to say that exercise makes them 10 to 20 years younger than their chronological age by being free from mental and physical disease longer than they expected, or at least as compared to unhealthy individuals who fall on the same chronological age bracket. 2, 3 Though these associations have long been well established, we still see people even the healthiest continue to age and deteriorate. These compel us to look for a more concrete evidence or solid foundation for our hopes to finally counter the cause. 2009, with telomerase being accepted as true is seen by many as the dawning of new light. But of course not without cons……

Many Americans aren't very physically active. A common reason for this is that many people spend hours watching TV, on computers either doing work, schoolwork, and leisure activities. I found that people should limit their activity to no more than 2 hours a day because more than the 2 hours can cause overweight and obesity. People rely on cars, some have fewer physical demands at home or at work because of the modern technology. Also, a lack of physical education in classes at schools. People should be active by exercising to prevent overweight and obesity because it can burn the calories that they take in from the food they eat and the drinks they drink. Most people who are inactive may increase their health. An example of what people might get from being inactive is coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, colon cancer, and other health problems. I believe that our environment does not support healthy lifestyle habits like we should. It only encourages obesity. Some other reasons that can cause obesity and overweight children is Also, genetics and social factors (socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, media and marketing, and the physical environment) can influence the energy consumption and expenditure. Which, your genes may affect the amount of fat you store in your body and where on your body you carry the extra fat. Some children adopt their habits from their parents and a child who has an overweight parent who eats high…

Today, the main cause of obesity is certainly children eating too much and/or not performing regular exercise or just generally never being active at all. Because children are not getting the exercise they need, all those calories aren’t being burnt up, so they then turn into fat. The fat then keeps adding up, resulting in excessive weight gain and eventually obesity. Television and video games are just two of the many activities to help kids avoid regular exercise. In the past times, children had no problem going outside to exercise on a daily basis. Whether it be a game of baseball or just going for a walk, they still achieved their daily intake of needed exercise. But nowadays, with having television, computers, video games, and such, children are spending all their time indoors and exercising only the mind and hands. When one adds the lack of exercise to poor choices in food, one’s chances of becoming obese obviously increase.…

A lot of people believe that just because that they are young means that they can eat unhealthy and not exercise and later on in life they can start trying to eat healthy and exercising then they will be okay. That is not true. It can actually put a person’s body more at risk to having diabetes, heart disease or any other terrible disease. Physical activity and nutrition are partners when it comes to sustaining better health. Being active increases the amount of calories burned. As people age their metabolism slows, so maintaining energy balance requires moving more and eating less. To help a person to get in the routine of exercising can be challenging but with the help of the environment, it will not be that difficult. Going on nature walks or walks throughout the community just to pick up trash and clean up the neighborhood is not…
