My Personal Leadership Philosophy
"I don't know what awaits us on the other side of that berm, but I'll tell you this. If I have to give my life for any of you I will do it in a heartbeat" (Murphy, 2008). An insert from the book In a Time of War told from a lieutenant in the U.S. Army moments before he leads his platoon into the invasion of Iraq. A position of leadership comes with many responsibilities other than just delegating work to people under you. One must have ethical values to be a fair and impartial leader for all that whom serve. This all ties into a person's philosophy of leadership. The leaders, all of whom will be independent in their own right but share common ground, can tell a view of their leadership.
