Pet Overpopulation Shelter
Last but not least is the reason on how this situation can help the community. Many shelters are overpopulated with pets. An article by”hhhstopeka” states “ Adopting from a shelter helps weaken the pet overpopulation cycle. Each year 8 to 12 million dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are euthanized because there are simply not enough homes for them.” Basically, they are saying that every shelter is overpopulated with these pets. So when you adopt a pet from the shelter you’re helping by breaking the overpopulation shelter. So that means you’re helping your community. Also when you adopt a pet you’re giving another pet a chance and space to survive in the shelter. That’s why I think that adopting a pet is better than buying one. Buying a pet
