Persuasive Speech On Fast Food
American girls today gorge on garlic reeked hamburgers, greased up pizza, deep fried oreos, and salt encrusted poisons in a bag — otherwise known as potato chips. Today, they opt towards fast food. It is atrocious they have zero conception of the pernicious effects of these foods. I believe that the prodigious amount of American girls stuffing Taco Bell in their mouths while sitting in their rooms binge watching “Gossip Girl” or “Vampire Diaries” on their MacBooks is rather alarming. It is common knowledge that eating a lot and moving too little increases one’s chances of obesity, which is the rudiment in acquiring diabetes. Essentially, one becomes fat. To make absolutely certain this method would work, a very near and dear friend I hold close to my heart helped me conduct this experiment. At first, she was rather skeptical of the experiment. However, within a month afterwards, she had lost 38 pounds and has never looked better! In fact, her crush asked her out last week! The secret is to refrain from eating while staying nourished with only water and two apples a day. I call it the apple diet. In order to justify this method, I shall explain the rather favorable results my friend achieved with this. On day seven of the experiment, my friend stepped on a scale for the first time in months. I witnessed teardrops streaming down her bambi eyes and held my breath, waiting for her to say something. She jumped off the scale and embraced me, whispering “Three pounds.” I relished in her amiable glow as she looked into the mirror and gave herself a sultry stare. She looked absolutely marvelous. America’s economy revolves around consumerism, thus prices for everything have increased dramatically every year. An American girl could save a lot of money if she decides to utilize the apple diet. For example, instead of purchasing overpriced clothing from H&M, Forever 21, and Lululemon, she could easily purchase cheaper clothes from the kid’s section at Target! There is no doubt she would fit into the clothes perfectly. Along with saving money from buying clothes, she could reduce her grocery bill! Rather than purchasing unnecessary meats, vegetables, junk foods, she would only have to purchase about a dozen apples — enough to last 4
