Persuasive Speech: Drilling Oil In New Guinea
Ladies and gentlemen I feel that we need to be unified in the idea of sacrificing another cultures liberty for personal economics. When the public starts to scrutinize our practices for native removal we must stand strong together or the idea of free oil will fail. These people on this land in New Guinea need to look like royal dignitaries on camera. I know that I am known as the great peace maker but the public needs to be reminded why that is. Also we need to have solid propaganda on why we need to drill this oil, to include the lies we need to tell when it comes to investing into other energy sources. World leaders, you already know and understand that public opinion is the key to drilling oil in New Guinea.
The cameras will be all over us when news announces that we are drilling in New Guinea. The first thing that we must do to enhance our public opinion is media control. An additional investment must be made to encompass the area of land …show more content…
The first thing that we need to do is set up commercials showing a world running fluidly with oil, and that everyone is smiling and happy because of it. In that same video we need to show a polar opposite, this video needs to included, starving children because the food trucks cannot reach them in time, nation's breaking down and going to war because of lack of energy needed to move machinery, and finally flags of all the world nations burning up with the last barrel of oil on earth. As your representative I also urge you to make realistic plans for alternative energy resources so that the public thinks that you have their best interest at heart. Leaders, unfortunately I have a true understanding that you will do nothing to prevent another oil crisis.
