President Persuasive Speech
This is Claire Crosswaite reporting live on November 22nd from the Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas. It's about 12:15 p.m. on a beautiful Friday afternoon and there are around 200 thousand people waiting to see President Kennedy. With the President will be his lovely wife Jacqueline, Govenor John Connally and his wife Nellie. It's been reported that Mr.President and the first lady had to take a short flight from Fort Worth, but will be here shortly. You can almost feel the excitment in the crowd and throughout the city. I see a white car turning off of Houstion Street... could it be the President?

I see a Lincoln Continental convertible limousinebehind him with the President! He is wearing a gray suit with a white dress shirt, while Jacqueline is wearing a pink suit and hat. They're all waving and looking great! But oh, something's happened! They've shot! Everyone's running, it's chaos! Mrs.Kennedy is reaching off of the back of the limo to pull a Secret Service Agent in the car now. This is CLaire Crosswaite reporting live from the Dealey Plaza where our President has just been shot! I will report back later with more information.

He was shot twice,(once in the head and once in the throat) one bullet actually entering the Govenor, and is now dead. It has also been stated that because of terrible back problems he's had, he had to wear a back brace under his shirt. Because of his brace, he was unable to fall over, like Govenor Connally could and stayed an easy target. Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn into office on Air Force One. It has been a very heart-breaking day for America, but may he rest in

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was an American politician and World War 2 veteran. He later served as the youngest elected president of the United States from January 1961 to November 1963. The reason for his short term was his assassination in Dallas Texas, on November 22nd, 1963. Lee Harvey Oswald was on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository when he shot and killed the 35th president of the United States during the 1963 motorcade. There were several things that could have help prevented this tragedy from happening. Before the motorcade began, John verbally told his secret service men to “back off.” His agents gave him more space then he should have had in the first place. Kennedy had a love for cars, so riding with the top down was a must for him. If he had not been riding with the top down, he wouldn't have been such an easy target. Lastly, the motorcade route was changed at the last minute. He was supposed to go through Main Street and onto the Stemmons Freeway but at the last minute was changed to turn onto Houston Street, then Elm Street. If Kennedy had allowed his Secret Service man to assist him, did not ride with the top down, and stuck with the original motorcade route, Kennedy's assassination could have been prevented.…

On the day November 22, 1963 I was waiting in the streets of Dallas, Texas. I remember I was on Main Street at Daley Plaza in Dallas. I had been waiting there for almost two hours and I had the best spot to see Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy roll down the street waving to the crowd. I knew that Kennedy was coming to Texas because we were a major state that he had to win in order to have a good chance of re-election. In those two hours I heard that Kennedy was giving a speech outside of his hotel in Fort Worth and that he was going to take a plane and be arriving shortly. All I remember seeing right before the Kennedys arrived was that there were thousands of people in the streets just waiting to get a glimpse of the president. I also remember people…

On his way there, in an open convertible, instead of going down Dallas’ Main St., which they planned to, they decided to go down Elm St. where there were more buildings and a better crowd view. On going down Elm St. now, there were three shots. Two of the shots hit the president, one in the neck and one in the head, and the third shot hit the governor. Ninety seconds after the shots, officers rushed into the Texas School Book Depository to find a man named Lee Harvey Oswald eating his lunch very calmly on the second floor and a sniper rifle on the sixth floor. Since November 23, 1963, the day after President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated, there have been speculations as to the happenings of November 22, 1963. Along with the Warren Commission, there are hundreds of conspiracies and theories attempting to explain the assassination of Kennedy. Many people agree with the Warren Commission in that Lee Harvey Oswald acted as the lone gunman, while others maintain that another gunman was involved. Because of extensive evidence, I believe that Oswald did not act alone on November 22, 1963 in the assassination of Kennedy. The additional gunman was strategically placed in the grassy knoll area, in order to shoot at Kennedy from a frontal view (Rubinstein 4).…

Good morning everyone today I will talk about why Donald Trump should not be elected president of the United States. I think Donald Trump will never be elected president of U.S.A as he is making all of these crazy ideas like proposing to build a wall between Mexico and America and making Mexico pay for it. He also always thinks he is correct and has a hard time admitting that he is wrong. He plans to ban all Muslims until he knows what is going on and better security precautions are made.…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…
