Personal Statement For Public Health
I acquired an interest in public health in the domestic and international context in my experiences of working with youth and elderly people from different cultures. As well as in my experiences with community organizing and advocacy. I hope that this internship will give me exposure to public health issues and understanding how the government operates. My community service and work experience have been dedicated to empowering and advocating for the less fortunate. I've exemplified interest for public health by using creative arts to promote physical and emotional well-being. My passions for public health and the community were further ignited by my trip to Havana, Cuba where I learned about how Cubans deal with HIV/STD prevention and care.
