Personal Narrative: My Yearbook Sales Team
I have been very deeply involved with the yearbook sales teams for the duration of my high school career and through it I have become very involved in my community and the events that go on within it. I have assisted my yearbook sales team in contacting businesses and helping them prepare advertisements to put in our yearbook.
Along with being on the yearbook sales team I was also involved in Youth Court, a program in which first time juvenile offenders of minor crimes were given a second chance if they agreed to appear in front of a panel of Youth Court members, where we would decide what kind of community service they would do. I felt as if I was helping both these kids and my community a great deal, and I was heartbroken when my work schedule
