My kind of hero is one that will fight even if it wont get them anywhere. My kind of hero is one that will be selfless when it comes to others. And when I think of a hero I think of a very strong special somebody that will do anything for anyone just to consider there feelings. My kind of hero is my little man Wyatt. You might ask what makes him a hero? This little boy has many things that make him a hero. He is fighting a type of cancer and he is being strong through the whole thing. Many people think that heroes have to be muscular, have guns, or have superpowers, but they are so much more than those basic stereotypes. Those stereotypes aren't real, anybody can be a hero, anything can be a hero for that matter. A hero is a person who sacrifices something, but a hero doesn't always have to sacrifice. Being a hero could be giving a homeless person food or money.…

My greatest influences are my parents and my brother. My brother suffered from Guillain- Barre Syndrome when he was eight. He lived in the hospital on an artificial ventilation for 97 days and later he had to continue physical therapy for at least ten years as he was completely paralyzed. My parents and my brother devoted their few years completely for his treatment. Today, my brother is a successful engineer working in the bay area. I learned that with dedication, determination and diligence we can achieve our dream in life…

Overall, those are a few characteristics that in my opinion could make anybody any person's hero. Some thing that i admire from my real life hero is that he is one of the most loving souls i have ever seen and even though he is not the most succesul in the world, he is still grateful for what he has. No matter what you do, its best to be the best and nicest person you can be, and you will be loved and…

I particularly admire May because of how humble she is towards everyone and also the animal life as well as insects. Even though she sometimes has breakdowns she always is helping others. She has lost a lot with her twin sister's death and Zach going to jail. She is similar to me because we both have been through things that have put us into a depressed state of mind and are also sensitive to what others say to us. To help cope better with our feelings we have done many things to try and help, May built a wall to put her feelings on a note and puts it onto the wall which she calls it her wailing wall, I have done stuff similar like writing my feelings into a book that is hidden under my bed. She sings herself a song when she is upset, as for…

Many mornings when I rise, I feel that I have been sledge hammered into a pulp. As I lay horizontal burbling out words that are unintelligible, I try to focus on the new day. The new day: more medication, finding more resolve to deal with the shit I am going through with this cancer journey. Another day of dealing with a society that lacks a real understanding of the complexities of that whose only role is to destroy me and end my life.…

Who is your hero? It could be a firefighter, a police officer, even a celebrity; but what makes a hero? What is a hero? A hero is someone who would give up everything to save or protect people around him. After reading the myth “The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog” I saw an actual hero come from, literally, the bottom of the pack. The character rose up from the bottom, to the top for himself and his people.…

When people think of a hero they generally think of super strength, flying at supersonic speed, and other outstanding super powers. However, heroes can be an ordinary person, in the right place at the right time. Heroes are people that children can admire and look up to because heroes care for other people, are very brave, and are hard workers. Children need to know how to identify a hero so they can have a role model in their life. First off, heroes are generally nice people that care for the wellbeing of other people. Heroes are not only going to care for the people they love, but for a stranger that needs their help. For some people, a hero can be a friend that calls them once a day just to ask how their day has been. Another example would be someone stopping to help an older person cross a busy street.…

A hero to me is someone having the strength to stand up for what is right, even if they have to do it alone. To me this is someone that is using their courage strengths to overcome the unthinkable. I look at my brother as a hero. My older brother is one of my heroes because of the love he have and work he put forth in everything he do. For example, my brother works hard and goes above and beyond his job description. Everyone has to face fears in life, but a hero goes and eliminates difficulties with passion and ambition. Heroes to me are brave because they are faced with tough situations and still act anyway. Another one of my heroes is my father. My father was the family provider growing up and did everything it took to make everyone happy. My father sacrificed his whole life to see my family happy on numerous occasions and that is heroic to me. Heroes are also unselfish. Unselfish is putting the needs of others before one’s own. My son is my last hero. In most cases, if two parents split apart the mother is the primary nurturer for the children. My son acts as a mother and father to his children. Seeing my child provide each and every day make me so proud. All…

“From the beginning,” the conductor whispered, while bringing his arms up in a stance which made him look like he was ready to fight a raging battle against ferocious warriors. I could feel my palms sweating as I touched the cold metal of my saxophone, bring it up to my mouth into ready position. I quickly glanced around me at the other ambitious players, each one of them barely sitting on the edge of the black band chairs, nearly bursting at the seams with excitement. I could taste the distinct flavor of my reed; the wood was smooth and damp, and I formed the embouchure which I had perfected over the past few years. Along with every other person in the tight, sweaty, boiling room, I drew in an enormous breath, and with the help of my instrument, sung out the very first note of many as a proud member of the High School Wind Ensemble.…

Everyone in the world has a different opinion about what a hero is. They come in many shapes, sizes, have different characteristics, values, and beliefs. For me, a hero is someone who is willing to put a hundred percent effort into protecting you from pain. They will stop at nothing to provide you with the security of safety; and will share with you the knowledge required for survival. A hero doesn’t have to have impeccable character, high importance in society, or have a classic sandwich named after them in the local pub. A hero just needs to be someone who cares for your happiness and loves you for being yourself. My mother is my hero.…
