It was 7:00 pm and me, Diego, Jose, and Jordan are ready to ach and everyone else. Me and my brother Diego were paintballing for the first time, but Jordan and Jose were pros at this. Jordan was already in a paintball league, and Jose and his dad owned a very expensive automatic paintball gun and Jose used it a lot and practiced frequently with it.

We waited for jordan to be dropped off. And five minutes later he arrived. “Let’s scare him.” Jose whispered to me, “Okay let’s do it.” I said quietly. [Me and jose are waiting behind cars in the parking lot at this time.]

My heart won’t stop racing, I don’t know why and, My eyesight starting to fade away slowly like I had glaucoma. All the surrounding noise around me by the crowd had me going deaf, then I started to sweat from all the pressure around me like a morning workout. I was playing dodge ball. Usually I'm not very good at it, but one day, I was the last one on the court, and someone threw the ball at me. At that moment, I felt like the end was near. I heard mixed yells from my friends; yells of "Run" and "Catch it!" I almost felt the ball hitting my face as it was coming toward me! I closed my eyes! I heard a loud bang, not unlike a ball hitting someone. First, there was silence, then yells and cheers! I didnt't feel any pain. I realised that since I hadn't felt any pain, I had probably died. Well, I lived a good life. It had seemed that my death had been inevidable to me. I opened my eyes and looked down, expecting to see my body, lying on the floor. but it wasn't. 'That's strange', I thougt, I looked at…

My breath is soft and slow, and the only thing that I can hear is the faint howling of the wind. I pull back the string and wrap my fingers around the arrow. I aim and let loose. The arrow flies and hits right on the target. Archery is one of the things that I live for, as well as soccer and listening to music. My culture is what I do on a day to day basis and what is a large portion of my life.…

It's Christmas 2014, my Dad and I went to go shooting with my Cousins, my Uncle, and my Grandpa. He brought his AR (Assault Rifle), .45, .09, and his AS 12 gauge (Assault Shotgun). I brought my BB gun too. The boys shot off a couple of rounds with the .45, the .09, and the AR. Grandpa taught me how to shoot a BB gun first. Then my Dad let me shoot the .09. The .09 goes like this BAM…… BAM…….. BAM it is semi automatic, that means it is not rapid fire. I was pretty good with the .09. Next I used the .45 and it went all downhill from there. The .45 almost flew out of my hand, it went BAM… BAM… BAM... BAM, it had a good kickback to it. The .45 also was a semi automatic.…

The most memorable thing that happened to me was when I first discovered what I’m really good at. I came across inspiring Youtube videos of old classic Roller Derby and recent ones that were published only a year ago, I knew from the moment I laid eyes on those quads that I had to try it. In less than two weeks I was a complete natural at skating, I was all about skates. I practiced all the derby stances, exercises, techniques you name it I am absolutely in love with this sport. but as much as I fantasized about doing it I never thought that I’d actually get the chance to be part of their world and have training by the Derby Dames Juniors Freshmeat Association crew, which are ranked the top thirty-one in the united states!…

Playing Ice Hockey was a burning passion of mine. It all started in the cold and dense locker room. Practice had just finished up and we were inside the locker room getting undressed. I was a forward on the team and was only ten years old. The team goalie was sick and was not going to be able to make our game the next day. Coach asked “Is anyone willing to play goalie for our game?” and I, the young ten year old boy I was; was the first person to quickly respond saying “I will!” Playing goalie was destined for me, I was a star and very talented.…

Eighth grade year, gym class, flag football. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I had a fuming hatred for the gym teachers and their actions toward these pre-pubescent kids who take everything a little too personally, but with these rude teachers each and every reaction from each and every kid was appropriate. The only way I could describe these teachers is 40 year olds who find joy in making 13 year olds miserable. So, it all began when the flag football unit started. I wasn’t afraid of the evil humans we called gym teachers; I spoke my mind. Football was usually the last unit every year and every year the girls had to relearn how to play football, while the boys got to go play outside right away without an ounce of review. Because I am me, this wasn’t going to fly.…

Before I was first playing baseball I wasn’t very good and didn’t understand it, I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I played t-ball and parent pitch and it was very fun, I could never really hit, but I could field pretty well, and I was always better than my peers. My parents loved baseball and were always very encouraging of how I played baseball, and how bad I was. Once I turned an unassisted triple play, Which means that I got 3 outs all by myself, In the same play to end the inning. Until kid pitch i didn't know the game of baseball. I would constantly get hit by pitches cause I was a left handed batter, and pitchers at that age couldn’t throw me any strikes and would constantly walk me. Any time I got a pitch to hit I would hit pretty far and get a double or a triple.…
