Personal Narrative: My Experience As A Rockstar Virtual Assistant
I am the best Rockstar Virtual Assistant for you because I am well-trained, efficient and goal oriented. My excellent communication skills, both oral and written, would be highly effective in the interaction with your clients and achieving your desired results for your business. What sets me apart from the rest is my experience working as a VA with a realtor in Baltimore, MD and in the local real estate industry here in the Philippines. Even before I Iearned about the terms lead generation and lead nurturing, I was able to put them into practice managing a Facebook page for my cousin who happens to be a broker. I post pictures of the properties he sells, which I personally took, and entertained inquiries which eventually led to selling a property to a lead who inquired on Facebook. Through this experience I learned the importance of earning a client’s trust at the onset of the initial interaction with them. Being consistent in providing customer support and letting the …show more content…
Through this training, I learned more about the Real Estate Industry and the process of buying or selling a home. Prior to my training, my knowledge about this industry is limited to my personal experience selling a house back in 2011 when I was still working for my cousin who is a broker and to the information I get from tv shows I watch on HGTV about real estate agents helping buyers find the best home for them or how to flip homes and make a big profit from it. I find shows like Love It or List It and Rehab Addict very interesting because I’m amazed at how they can improve or even restore old homes and eventually sell them or make the homeowners think twice about selling them after the improvements. House Hunters also keeps me glued to the tv because I really like the home viewing part where the buyers are presented with 2-3 options to find their dream

My personal mission statement is to be the best that I can be and work hard to help others be the best they can be. This statement is important to me because I have always found that I am at my best when I am helping people, whether its helping people at my job or at the grocery store. There are many things that fall into place with that, which to me, mainly includes education, because I am a student and I work in a college where I work with students and I listen to their problems and relate to them. So education is very important in general, but to me Community and Industry Education is very important and important to a lot of people. First off I have attended Tarrant County College and I have gained so much from that experience. I have gained…

Something that I had found very interesting these past two weeks was learning about tangible and intangible assets. With learning how to identify the entries associated with sales, plant assets, etc… Learning about how to calculate land cost and finding out what things that can be depreciated on are and gain money. As we all know about vehicles depreciating in value the second you drive it off the lot. I work on vehicle maintenance at my job and I am constantly having to make a decision whether or not it is worth the money or not. In the past, I have made bad choices however with each bad choice, you gain knowledge of how not to repeat that process again, and what measurements can be taken to avoid it. Learning about how the appreciated assets, really has me interested in how a company gains back some of the money it puts out in things it loses.…

No one told me about this year-end tournament when I purchased the Frequent Player Card. Perhaps if they sent out a little notice via Facebook or an e-mail reminder, it would draw more players. And, your suggestion to have a ladies division might encourage more to sign up. There is no way we can compete with single-digit men players...if not for a prize, for bragging rights.…

Hi, I’m Alex Venable. One thing that I fear are alligators or crocodiles. When I was little I always enjoyed watching this TV show that had two guys that would feed and wrestle alligators. One night the show wasn’t on so we did some research and found out why it wasn’t on. One of the guys had an accident and lost one of his hands. Following this event, they ended up shutting the show down because he was going to be unable to return and his co-host decided to quit the show also. This then caused me to have an irrational fear for alligators. My dad is the reason why I love cars. He has taught me everything I know and continues to introduce me to new things and experiences. We enjoy spending time together by doing at home work projects such as…

The narrative, The Driver’s Seat struck home for me because I just received my driver’s license this past May, 2015. I took time for me to actually drive and to become comfortable behind the wheel of a car. This piece of writing spoke to me and allowed me to review some of the identical thinking points that I went through while getting to the point of taking control of my dad’s car. The story effectively walked me through the trials of spirit and mental anguish that preceded me in taking hold of the vehicle with my dad as the co-pilot giving directions. This was the exact thing the driving instructor in The Driver’s Seat‘ taught the author. The routine of how to maneuver and throw caution to the wind- taking risks- to get the author over…

Sounds pretty similar to the agency I work for but it sounds like you had a lot more training then we did. Oddly, I was never asked or told to shadow anyone however, I did have a few nurses shadow me. I asked these nurses about it and they told me they weren’t getting paid for their time and I thought that was a little bizarre. I’m guessing that many agencies do not pay people for training after hearing your experience was similar to…

In seventh grade I wanted to tryout for volleyball. I was very nervous because I had never played it before. I was super happy when I found out all my friends and I made the team. We had a lot of practices in December to get ready for games in January. I was really nervous for our first game. Our first game was supposed to be right after christmas break ended, but we had a snow day so it was cancelled. I wished it hadn’t been so I could just get it over with, but i was gonna have to wait. We were scheduled for another game later that week. I woke up with a phone ringing and an answering machine saying that school was cancelled due to boiler issues. I sat in bed thinking I had once again gotten lucky and we had no game, I was wrong. We were…

This week reminded me how amazing and important my job is. Friday was a busy day at the office; I was rushing to finish my work so I could leave on time. As I was about to leave I received a phone call from a hiring manager (Mark) with NOAA. Mark had questions about the interview process and was calling to speak to one of my colleagues. Unfortunately, my colleague was on vacation and wouldn’t be back for another week. I looked at the clock and realized it was time to go but I could hear the frustration in Mark’s voice. Instead of leaving, I spent almost an hour listening to Mark’s concerns, answering his questions, and I explained how the federal hiring process works. At the end of our conversation, Mark thanked me for my time and he told me…

These goals have to be reached for me to do well out in the real world. Attachment is defined as the positive emotional bond that develops between a child and a particular individual. Of the four major patterns of attachment (secure, avoidant, ambivalent and disorganized-disoriented), I would consider Blair securely attached. Like other children who have a secure attachment pattern, Blair uses me, her mother, as a type of home base (Feldman, 2012). At 8 months Blair is cautious and shy in new situations. She has a typical fear of strangers but will eventually warm up somewhat to a new situation. Blair shows a strong preference for me over others. I am always talking and thinking about Blair. When my husband and I find time to go out, I find myself worrying and calling grandma to make sure she is doing all right.…
