Personal Narrative: My Decision To Start School

The decision to start school was a long process for myself and my family. We talked about it for months to make sure it was the right choice and the right career path. Finally, the decision was made and I enrolled in school. With the fears of not being in school for a while and still having to balance work, family and school was always in the back of my mind. You will find that I have learned a lot getting to know other classmates and working on the discussions.
This first week was amazing; I was able to overcome some of my fears and maintain a good balance for my life. I was stunned by how well I am able to balance school with work and family. Working graveyard and swings is really hard for me. Not being able to have …show more content…
Getting to know other classmates really lifted a weight off my shoulders. The fact that I’m not alone in this journey and other classmates are also trying to better their future while dealing with everyday tasks and still looking to God for guidance. While
I still have my support group at home it is nice know that I can still go to my classmates.
I don’t think there is anything I would do differently. I have already done so much differently in these last few months to get to where I am now. Knowing that I have taken the necessary steps to further my career and that God will be by my side on my new journey is all I need. I want my three girls to grow up to be strong women and be able to accomplish their

I plan to do.

Although at first I thought I was taking on way too much, but I now know that what I am doing is possible. I’ve been able to make it all work with no problems.
