Personal Narrative: Mrs. Miller Memoir
Mrs.Miller Memoir

Growing up as a child was very met morale and a sometimes fun other times not experience. Many memories are developed during your childhood but many memories are forgotten. Memories that are remembered are apart of who we are today an what makes us how we are. These memories and experiences tech us life lessons that we use without knowing it everyday. A memorable day for me was in a lacrosse game in the 2012-13 lacrosse season. My 2012-13 lacrosse started off with a 10-3 lose to Central Square and then more losses down the road to teams from all over. It was a rough season for all of us on the team and for the coaches. Kids showed up to practice and worked hard but the record wasn't showing that. Staying positive and keeping our

This was one of the best teams in our league behind West-Genese and Fayetville-Manlius. We started the game off good and quickly jumped up to a 1-0 lead. Our goalie had 5 saves an our defense was holding against their offense very well. Our offense was passing the ball very well and made most of the shots they took. Ending the half the score was 3-1 us. Our coach was very proud of us and let us know that during half-time. Starting the second half off you could tell Cazenovia was upset because they started playing dirty. Then came a turning point of the game. Our goalie made a save and I was running down field to catch the ball. I turned around to catch the ball then as soon as I turned the other way I got hit hard and layed on the field knocked out for a few seconds. Coach Culandra ran out very quickly and told me to stay there while Kelly the trainer ran over. After try looked at me Kelly gave me a concussion test and then I noticed my helmet was shattered. No one ever thought the helmets could shatter like mine did. Kelly took me in and gave me a new helmet which I then used to finish the game off in. Sadly we lost

My maternal grandmother Shirley Rae Harrington grew up during World War Two. But despite the war, she lived a somewhat normal childhood. When she was young there were very few other children in the area to play with and her younger sister, Sissy, was paralyzed. So she often played by herself in a stream nearby. Her family also owned several horses, chickens, pigs and a billy goat. Surprisingly she didn't get into much trouble as a child, except once when her family was down in our properties Maryland. People were racing speedboats in the creek, so she asked a neighbor who her family knew if she could go. He said yes and took her in his own boat when they got back her parents were fine but Mimi was upset with her. Her first travel experience…

Kathleen: My full name is Kathleen Caroline Muck, which, in my opinion, is a bit of a mouthful. I don’t hate my name, but I don’t really like it either. Kathleen and Caroline each seem like names for little old grandmas that fold tissues to keep in their purse for when they go out. Having a full name may seem kind of cool and professional when you get an award or sign your name, but the moment is always ruined by someone that knows me primarily as Katie snickering and saying Kathleen Caroline in a nasally voice to whoever is closest. Also, I find Kathleen particularly hard to spell when I’m struggling to write in cursive neatly for important documents. For example, if you were to look at my temps, you would see that I spelled my own name wrong. No joke. I spelled my name K-a-t-i-h-l-e-n, and to be perfectly honest, that isn’t the first time I’ve messed it up.…

We were running up the sideline of the field sprinting our hearts out just to get to the opponents goal, and as I ran up the sideline my coaches speech went through my head and how he told us not to give up. I passed the ball to one of our teammates and he passed it back to me as soon as I ran around a defender. I then passed to another teammates the one of the players on the opposing side went in to take the ball but had kicked his leg instead. The referee blew his whistle for a penalty kick which was really good because it was inside the goalie box. Our penalty shooter Elijah went and stood up at the penalty spot he walked back A couple of paces and as he took the shot the goalkeeper dived the other way and so Elijah won the penalty but even though we thought that was great we still knew that the game hadn’t…

The most memorable time in my life was my daughter's cleft palate surgery. It was January 4th when my daughter and I had to leave El Paso, TX to take a trip to Austin, TX. It was a long drive for a little baby like her at the time she was only two years old. Early that morning my parents took us to the bus station. The bus was leaving at 6 a.m. in the morning to get to Austin, TX at midnight. My daughter and I felt it was the longest drive ever as the bus was very full and kept stopping. Finally, we arrived to Austin at midnight. I had to walk around for some time until I found a cab to take us to the hotel. I was scared and nervous. I was all alone with my daughter in a city we didn't know. We arrived to the hotel and finally felt safe and some peace. As soon as we walked in the room, I called my family and let them know we were good.…

My most memorable memory included eggs, confetti, and confusion. This day had many odd occurrences, from window paint, eggs, flour, camouflage, and a roller coaster of emotions. The best memory ever to me was the last day of my senior year of high school. That day started off as any normal last day of high school. There were camera flashes, k.i.t (keep.in.touch) in yearbooks, smiles, yearbooks flying around the cafeteria, and saying goodbye to teachers. As the day progressed, it was good being able to hang out with my whole class before walking the stage.…
