Personal Narrative: Living In East Harlem

I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t like to sit in traffic; I’m the kind of guy that could sit in the cockpit of a plane and go high speed where falling isn’t an option because once you fall you can’t get up. As I a child all of could think of was being successful because growing up living in east Harlem you saw the people that weren’t going anywhere in life and you see where that got them in life. Growing up I have saw people not finish school and people who were in school for a very long time to get one degree. Many people in my family have either not graduated or still in college my aunt for example took her about six years to finish a two year degree because she constantly messed up and stop going to school and when back and procrastinated …show more content…
That dream was rapidly killed by my parents, who wants their child in the air force? After that dream was no longer an option I had to think of a plan B. my plan B is to go to college for aviation. Throughout my child hood all I wanted to do was to travel the world. But coming from a family where money for travel was hard because bills were high anywhere in the city travel rarely an option sometimes not an option. It’s like grabbing candy from a little kid who really wanted it. Traffic is when you’re stuck and no one wants to be stuck or delayed anywhere because when you’re stuck your wasting time and time is money so that means your also losing money. I love planes they can bring you to places where you have never seen before it opens up opportunities of a life time you can explore different cultures and different landscapes. Being around planes means a lot because the most significant event that ever has happened to America was the landing on the moon and the way to the moon was by an air
