Get rich, cure cancer, have children, fall in love, see Paris, climb Mount Everest, they’re all respectable yet ubiquitous goals that I hear from all of my friends. Every person wants to fabricate a global change but in all candor the first step dawns within ourselves. I yearn to cross this nation with my own two feet, seeing the sun rise in every time zone and set on every terrain of this land. I want to see the purple mountain majesty as I stand on the deserted highway in my hiking boots and feel the amber waves of grain lean their silky hands against my palm. I want to see the wealth of my American heritage from one shore to the other, take out the tumor of curiosity and replace it with the medicine of experience and wonder, and fall in
