Personal Narrative-Episcopal Youth Camp
Google defines memory as something to remember from the past. It can be good or bad. They also can change who you are. It’s like a precious gift, like your friends and family.
Every year, my sister and I go to a church camp in Newaygo, Michigan. The name of the camp is called Episcopal Youth Camp. Being that I am also in training for camp counselor, this event normally involves me being gone for a couple of weeks out of the summer. This gives my mom a nice break from having kids around too.
There are many things that we do while at camp. The types of activities we do are, swimming, nature walk, arts and craft, line dancing, boating, paddle boarding and many other activities. We also have evening activities which are planned by the camp director and counselors, along with the final evening activity which is the last night of camp. …show more content…
The most important thing at camp is family, we are all there for each other. Spending time also is important to our family, we’re only able to get together every summer. What was important was we all got along and we did everything together like singing, activities, euchre, formation and meals. Everytime I go back, I feel like i’m home and where I should be. This place is where all my memories had to be
