Music essay

My favorite type of music are “corridos”, rap, and country.
My favorite corrido is “El Karma” because when i hear it makes me feel excited and energetic especially when my favorite part comes out “ Nacie en la agua caliente”. I have always listened to “corridos” because i've heard them since i was a little kid. Whenever i hear “corridos” it makes me feel like i'm part of my culture. I also like to listen to them because it reminds me of my dad how he started with nothing and over the years he worked hard for his money. I like to listen to my dad and uncles “corridos” because it talks about how they started their businesses. I like to listen to rap also because it helps me clear my head and concentrate when i play basketball. My favorite rapper is 50 cent because his rapping is touching and it helps me think and makes me do the right things. The reason why i like to listen to 50 cent it's because he talks about his life and the mistakes he’s done through his life and every time he raps about it i try to not do the same mistakes as he did. The other rapper i like to listen to is kodak black because his songs are calm and he raps slow and soft so when i put my headphones on and listen to him it helps me relax when i'm angry. …show more content…
The reason i hear country in the ranch only is because it makes me feel calm when i'm at the ranch.My favorite country singer is George Strait and luke bryan. I like George Strait music because it's calm and the way he says his words are cool because he got a rancher voice.     Music is a key factor in my life, now and has been for as long as I remember. Music is one thing that can control my mood and emotions unlike any other. They have the ability to change shoes, accessories, or their hairstyle to make it appealing to their particular desires, just as one has the will to change a song on their ipod, or flip the channel on a local radio station. Recently, my life has been undergoing many changes. I am now starting to apply myself in a way that allows me to develop my potential and show forth the results as an outcome of the pursuance of fulfilling my aspirations. More than ever now I am starting to realize that “you get out of life what you put in”. Life is dependent only on “what you bring to the table”. If one tends to put in minimal effort then one should not expect to experience a great aftermath. I have chosen three songs that apply to my life right now in the stance that I am currently in. Its ironic that all of these songs are from different genres, songwriters, and generations but, they somehow tie into my life perfectly.
