Performance Enhancing Drugs Research
Performance enhancing drugs(PEDs) have been a very debatable topic over the years between teen athletes and professional athletes. Performance enhancing drugs are any substance taken by athletes to improve an athlete's performance. PEDs can come in many shapes sizes, and colors, for example Pills are the most common way of consuming enhancement drugs, because it is easy to purchase, and also it it very easy to transport between dealers and buyers. The most common sport(s) that PEDs are associated with, are for example cycling, baseball, tennis, etc.Recently Cycling has had the most incidents with PEDs like the lance armstrong controversy which was a major negative for the sport. Athletes also say that it is a good way to extremely boost athletic performance, and it is a low-key way to basically cheat at what sport you play. “Additionally testing for PEDs is exceedingly difficult for governing bodies, as drug makers are developing undetectable substances.” Wang states.
