People learn from a variety of sources:
Learning is something that is accomplished mostly in school. Most kids go to school from age five till their mid twenties when they can get jobs and develop their lives from. Personally, I think this to be true, but even though people don’t go or graduate from school they keep learning throughout their lives. What are the main sources people can learn from? The five main sources that a person can learn from in their lives are print and electronic media, parents, teachers, and personal life experiences. Print and electronic media are probably really common in our day to day lives. They are a very good source of learning. Print media includes newspapers and books, which have been part of our world for a very long time. Many people read them to expand their knowledge. Electronic media has recently become a very big source of learning in our world. Mostly everybody has an electronic device which have internet. They can then us the internet and search anything they need to learn. Electronic media includes things like: written descriptions and videos. They teach you what you wish to study. Overall, print and electronic media is a great source of learning in our daily lives.
Our parents have raised us, so we have been with them for majority of our lives. They helped to develop our basic knowledge like, your religion, manners, background and basic school learning. Some parents keep helping their child throughout his or her education in every way they can. Parents also share their life experiences and want you to learn from their depressing times so you don’t go through them in your life either. They help their child in any subject he is struggling or wants to learn more about such as, math. While others choose to let them be and make their own choices, but still our parents are people who will support us through our life no matter what happens. Our parents are one of the best sources for learning.

Always parents are the first level of influence from childhood. From my parents I learned what is right and what is wrong in today's world. They taught me how to respect others and how to behave with others, never show your anger or try to hurt anybody. The way, they take care of us right from childhood till we become independent. That shows that you should be responsible enough to take care of your family and your younger brother's and sister's in the family. They teach us the value of the family.…

Parents have more experience in the world. They have been around longer, seen more, and just know more than their child. This wisdom can be passed down through the child, making the child a better person that knows more about the world. “Parents have raised their children for their entire lives, and therefore know what their abilities are and what they are capable of. Because of this, parents are generally able to know their child's limits and how far to push them in achieving a certain task.” Thuc Dzu Jan. 11, 3:02 AM. I think this really states the fact that parents know what is good for their children well.…

Learning is a permanent change in behavior and thought caused by experience. Yet, we do not necessarily need to have the experience, we also learn from observing others. School and media are the most common sources we learn from since they are meant to have a positive impact on us. However, sometimes people can learn lessons from unexpected sources and this can be seen through how I got injured in table tennis, how watching a mosh pit has inspired me and how the habit of gaming has changed me.…

Other than school, TV, internet and other people, we learn from many different resources. For instance, myself, I learned something from a relationship. I was 15 when I met him. It happened all of a sudden. I was new to school. He invited me to his Birthday party. The evening at his house was amazing. We talked a lot and danced together. I believe that I had left a good first impression on him, because on the next day, he invited me out to a movie. It was a morning show. The darkness in the hall was electrifying with him next to me. Later when he sent me home, we kissed in the elevator. It felt good.…

To begin, parents always support you. They believe in you, even if you struggle. They guide you whenever you need comfort. Parents also usually know more than you in almost all things, from academic subjects to real life situations. Since I am with my family for hours every day, there is time for them to show me what I might know and teach me what I don’t know. Whether I need help in math, or a task like putting on a tie, my parents will show me to the best of their ability. Overall, my parents have changed three things: my grades, my attitude towards my family, and my outlook on school and how to do well in…

Their parents were there for them, did everything they needed. I am grateful for the fact that I did not have parents to hold my hands every step of the way, I realized how much simpler my life is now. My parents have raised an independent woman who is capable of taking care of her financials. Stable emotionally and able to pay for college without having to take any student loan. I would not have learned how to tell the difference between wants and needs if I had parents that were there to do everything for me instead of giving me tough love. You learn to value things more when you pay for yourself rather than parents. School teaches you the knowledge that will last you a lifetime. However, no one teaches you how to live life. My parents knew to make it in the world you have to know how to provide for yourself and be independent. Their aspiration in life is to see me succeed by teaching me the skills I would have never learned if they had held my hand. Life doesn't get easier; you were just stronger. I can now say I'm happy my parents made me learn responsibility at such a young…

There are many different theories on how people learn and over the years learning theories have dramatically changed. They have been superseded by newer theories based on psychological, social, cultural development factors, (Fritscher, 2011).In this paper I will be concentrating on five theories, three psychological and two social, they are; Behaviourism, Humanism, Constructivism, Lave and Wenger Communities of Practice, and Vygotsky’s learning theory. I have chosen these theories because I believe they best suit my area of teaching. I aim to provide each theory with a description and examples of how the theory has been used in my teaching.…

People learn from a variety of sources, why? It is because the sometimes people can’t find everything they need in just one source. For example, people will not always learn cook by the paper recipe, when my mom want to cook something, but didn’t know how to, she search it up on the internet. Then, she will cook me some delicious Chinese food. She just learned from the internet which is a different source than the cooking book.…
