Analysis of the PD needs
First Phase : The teacher had some difficulty in writing well formed objectives derived from SEC standards and the subject content from. Another area also needed development was conducting and designing exams according to the table of specifications .Really it a shortcoming which in needed to be recovered as soon as possible .Preparing materials for low achieving students and the talented students was a stick in the wheel in his teaching career .The most serious weakness point was his classroom management issue. In Qatar , many teachers believe that it is the most important crucial success point of a teacher . So, I think we have to work on this issue seriously .The last point wasn't that crucial . I think it would be easy to deal with it .In the questionnaire he mentioned something about collaborative approach . I think if we could fix the previous , that one wouldn't take much effort
Second phase :I attended 3 lessons for Mr.Ahmed . What I found out assured his bad need for immediate help in classroom management . The students were jumping , laughing and even eating during his lesson , while he was standing helpless .The teacher was puzzled and didn't know what to do .Another point took my attention was the absence of variation in his lesson . Neither worksheets for excellent students nor weak ones have special worksheet or activity .His lesson needed some ice-breakers or simple games to draw the attention of students rather than shouting or just staring at them .

    The Four-Part Action Plan

The four-part action plan to rectify the situation was done with the intent to promote the success of all students. Step 1 of the action plan involved contacting the school district’s legal department because I am aware that Essex factually stated that “the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides protection of all citizens against unreasonable search and seizure” (2011). I am also aware that “the major challenge facing school personnel involves the task of delicately balancing the student’s individual right to Fourth Amendment protection against the school’s duty to provide a safe and secure environment for all students” (2011). Because Mrs. Cole left her classroom unattended to do the search, it could be argued that she was not…

In addition to my enthusiasm for investing in young lives, I have done some volunteering as a teaching assistant to get some hands-on classroom experience for formal teaching. My experience at the school allowed me to acquire a number of skills and also help enhance my weaker ones. The key skills and strength that I possess for success include my enthusiasm and dedication to my assigned duties and my ability to support and inspire young people through being a good listener to them and offering appropriate advice. I am also highly skilled in assisting the instructor in supervision of students’ arrival and departure time, performing clerical and record keeping tasks and maintaining discipline of the classroom in the absence of the instructor. One of my greatest strengths is helping maintain a well-disciplined learning environment, with minimal interruptions and maximum productivity. This is achieved by pulling misbehaving students aside, reinforcing positive behaviour, and implementing a reward system.…
