Participant Observer Observation
For the interviews, my role was that of a known participant observer. I made my intent to conduct research very clear and asked for verbal consent. The interview took place once they agreed to spare some time for such a purpose. My questioning did not appear to have impacted any of the participants (they seemed comfortable). After the interview was finished, I assured the person that confidentiality was guaranteed.
