Traditional Or Online

John Dewy, American philosopher once said, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” Successful education is the future to our nation. In my opinion traditional schooling is a far better way to learn and grow as an individual. Traditional schooling is better than online schooling because of the classroom environment and educators. One thing that online schooling lacks is a professor, someone who you can spend one-on-one time with that can help you when you need it. This bond between teacher and student can not be formed while sitting at a computer. The privilege to learn from a well-educated person makes the experience of school more serene rather than having your eyes glued to a computer screen all day. Other than learning from a teacher, students also learn from other classmates and groups activates. With an online education many students lack an environment that advocates learning. Studies show that students learn better when they interact with the class and with others. With a traditional education students can participate in lectures, and students have the opportunity to learn from each other to build their understanding. For example, I am a senior in high school and I am taking trigonometry, which is not the easiest class to master, thankfully I catch on pretty quick, but unfortunately some of my classmates are not as lucky. With me being in their class I help them by tutoring them on lessons they need help on. With online schooling this would not be possible. Without a doubt traditional schooling offers a person a better contingent towards learning than online schooling does. Without a proper education a person can only go so far in life. That is why to learn and comprehend as much as you need to succeed in life, students should participate in traditional schooling rather than online studies.
