Overcoming Obstacles In High School
If I were to give a survey asking people what the most difficult point in life was, the overall answer will definitely be high school. High school is a time of self-discovery and issues. Everyone has a problem with school, home, or an activity. Obstacles are set to motivate us of course, but in the case of affecting academic performance, it can be what breaks my career. The main problem for everyone changing from middle school to high school is adjusting. Countless orientations, changing the curriculum to be more difficult, and having alumni speak can only do so much to prepare us for the big first day of high school. No matter what, adapting to a new school and environment with tougher teachers and new people is sure to be a major challenge

My most difficult experience in life was in high school, or in fact high school it self was a difficult experience for me. When I look back to the past I think that people and learning environment was one of the reasons that made my high school learning experience a negative one. Everyone who wasn't with me treated me against me. People thought that being different is a problem but in reality I think being different is what really make us stand out. I have never cared about what people say about me, and most importantly I have never fought them back. Furthermore, some of them started to understand and personally apologized. They realized that they talked nonsenses about a definition of someone's personality that they never understood.…

Due to me going to an Early college my freshman experience may have been a little different. Transitioning was one of the most difficult parts of the whole experience due to me not being able to really grasp what I had gotten myself into. My teachers were very firm in conducting their teaching strategies. I can recall a moment in time where I had turned in one of my first papers for my English class I was so excited for her to read it because I had worked all night on it trying to perfect it. A couple days passed and I got the paper back it was so many read marks on it if I didn't know any better I would…

Everyone struggles. Most often, hardships are buried beneath the surface. We have a tendency to act like we have everything under control, when in reality, we don’t. Mental illness can be hard to overcome, but those who are affected can be pros at pretending to be okay. Not all hardships are that dark - common issues like a recent break-up are hard to overcome too. But one thing I have learned is that everyone can overcome their obstacles. I’m in the process of overcoming an obstacle of my own. Most people (unless they’re on my team), would never guess that I have a medical condition that affects my breathing.…

When I was a little boy I was always one of the smart ones in class, but I was also the most outrageous one too; No matter what class it was or who was in it. When I was in high school, I was always getting in trouble, but if you spoke with my teachers or other students they would always say, “He’s a very bright and smart individual; he just loves to express himself, way too much.” When I had the opportunity to express myself, I always took advantage of it. I use to see myself as the heart of the class, because I made people laugh, girls smile, and I always looked like I was in a good mood. I flirted with any and every girl possible. Not that I wanted to date them, but because it made some feel as if they were appreciated; even though they really didn’t do anything appreciable. People loved to be around me, even those I never met before, but by just speaking to. Most students’, thought while we are in high school it is a time to impress others, but it is actually the opposite.…
