Read Hax and Majluf ' 's 1981 article, "Organizational Design: A Survey and an Approach."
On page 445, the authors provide eight of the most common symptoms of an inadequate organizational structure. Choose at least two of them and write a 500-word essay describing their impact on organizations. Be sure to show the broader connection(s) to the other topics covered in this class. For instance, if you chose (a) from page 445, how does motivation, or leadership, etc. impact this deficiency; alternatively, how might deficiency in motivation or leadership serve to contribute to the structural problems?
Organizational Structure According to Blanchard (2006) to be a great leader is necessary to look at yourself. Good leaders share about their experiences and what people expect from them and what to expect from people. The good leaders must begin by looking at themselves first. The good leader will share their experiences, what they believe and the impact that their beliefs will have in their work (Blanchard, 2010). I grew up in a wealthy family full of love and happiness. My father was the owner of a Dry Cleaner and was a successful business man. He was my hero and the person that influenced in my career. He was a positive man and always motivated to all his six children to get educated since he never had the opportunity to do it himself. My father taught us to work hard and to follow our dreams. I learned from my father everything that I know about leadership. My father was a good leader that treated people with love and respect. His employees loved him because he had a servant heart and he always motivated them to grow educationally and financially. He did not want to see any of his employees suffering because they were in need of money. I remember that one of his employees was living in a second floor and the stairs had no handrails and that employee had children. My father gave him the money to
