Oncology Personal Statement
Cancer is a horrendous plagues that touches the lives of millions on a daily basis; it is such a grand scale that the fight to alleviate cancer needs all the help it can get. In my high school experience, I have strived to do my part by volunteering at Relay for Life and the Lake Wylie Children’s Charity annually to help the fight against the disease in my immediate area. In the future, my goal is to study at Chapel Hill and move onto a field in oncology, but until then, I want to help the cause in whatever way I can. My desire is to help in any way I possibly can; after, we need to fight for those who can not fight for themselves. Being a member of the council means mental and physical commitment. It is a given that any council member should
