A rummage sale, a Jersey Mike’s Subway sandwiches donation drive and also speaking to the community. Also, as I had mentioned before a good way to get the community involved and aware of Leukemia is by me speaking to the community. I also recommend that the Hope 4 Daniel Foundation updates their website to make it more user friendly for all ages. Media Coverage There is not a better way to get the word out than using press releases. Press releases can help gain the funds and volunteers needed for the Hope 4 Daniel Foundation. Since press releases run on a timely matter it is crucial that the foundation runs on the timely schedule as stated above. The Santa Clarita Signal in print and on-line will be are main target for press releases. I am recommending that this all gets done in the timely matter as stated above.

Word of mouth seems to be their best way to inform. Following this would be articles in the local newspaper, then social networking (Facebook, Twitter, etc). The in-house promotions do quite well with posters, flyers, etc. Although they spread awareness, they do not help as much to raise funds. In order to continuing running their programs, the organization is going to have to incorporate a new public relations campaign that can raise the interest of the public and gain the support that they need to keep providing these resources and programs throughout the duration of their…

Lastly, I will propose having a community event, such as a community carnival. Having an event like this not only brings our school together but also our cluster and community. In order to get most of the students involved we will give community service hours to each student that participates in creating a booth. The grade level that raises the most money can have a reward.…

He has already represented various other charities, which makes him trustworthy. Not only is this campaign aiming to raise mass media awareness, but also hopes to educate individuals in smaller communities who may not have knowledge of cancer and the affects it has on families and individuals. The overall objective of the campaign is to get as many people involved and participating and in turn generate as many donations as possible.…

I wanted to start this fundraising because during my visitation to Cambodia, I was saddened by the amount of poverty-stricken familes the country has. With the need of money to attend schools, childrens unfortunatly cannot partake in education due to the cost. Typically a person's salary range around at approximately $5-10 dollars a day. (or even less) Therefore, children's shoulder the burden of helping their parents to raise money. Sadly, mothers who are unable to make enough money for their children, have…

News (press) releases are objective stories written in newspaper style to inform media gatekeepers about various promotions. Gatekeepers discard more than 90 percent of the news releases they receive, so a release should be newsworthy, timely, and hold the interest of readers. Additionally, an effective news release should maintain a local focus and not be overly promotional, which displeases most journalists. The news release should be printed on an organization’s stationery (3-point collateral piece) and begin with the heading: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE and the composition date. Contact information data should be shown in the heading. A news release headline is written in the same style as newspaper headlines, and the entire text of the news release should be no more than two pages, one page being ideal. News releases can be sent electronically via distribution services for a high-number impact.…

Creating a press release does not have to be difficult or complicated, yet a really good one can do amazing things. Once I sent a press release that generated over 200 sales leads from just one trade magazine. These were quality leads, too, because almost every information request came via email. The product we were selling cost well over $1000, and that press release got us into three Fortune 500 companies and many other smaller ones. The best part is, it cost absolutely nothing. Had it been an advertisement, the same amount of space in that particular magazine would have cost six thousand dollars and it wouldn’t have worked nearly as well because it would have been an ad.…
