Old Friend Sam
In my life I had the chance to meet a lot of people in different places. The people I meet usually end up in another place. I had a good friend named Sam when I was at young age. Sam was the guy I always have trusted and have a kick back with. In elementary school we were always together at all times. A couple of years ago I went for vacation in L.A. on my way to LA I heard there would be a greet festival that is dedicated to my home land soldiers. I made up my mind to be there before I came back to Colorado After a few weeks of vacation I ended up going to the festival in south gate park. On the way I see my old friend Sam. At first I didn’t recognize who he was because he had gain a lot of weight. After a few minutes he waved his hand to me and started shouting my name. That is when I knew the friend I never saw for 6 years was right there in front of me. After all the commotions we ended up taking for hours. Sam was the guy who always talks about being fit at young age, but the extra weight he had gained was big to not mention in our conversation, so I tried to ask him why he gained a lot of weight. I felt helpless I tried to figure out what his problems were but I couldn’t get any answer. Sam didn’t bother saying anything else about his depression made me helpless and sad. I had a week left on my vacation so I and my friends decided to make the best of it. Sam ideas for having fun were hilarious and crazy. At the end of our vacation we agreed on to see each other every 2 years in LA at summer. At the end of our vacation I have made Sam promise to lose weight because of all the complication disease he had in him. That made me worried about him more.

My father worked in the United States Marine core during my adolescent years, and because of it we were constantly moving around. I believe it made me more of an adaptable person, however once I met whom I considered my best friend moving around was not so fun anymore. I’ve always been more of a quiet person so meeting friends was not easy for me, and the few I had were as close to me as family. Moving to Philadelphia from Virginia was very traumatic for me at that age. My parents told me that I would have many meaningful people come in and out of my life as time went on, but at the time I figured I would never find another friend like the one I had. After months of being in a very depressive state I became very close friends with our neighbor’s daughter whom is still one of my closest…

Ben, who was my cousin, was one of my closest friends. In July, he had just turned 18 and would soon be heading off for college. I would be in 6th grade that same year. Ben was ecstatic for me and he always called me a Temple Tot. Everyone surrounding him would be hysterical because of all of the ridiculous jokes he spoke of. Ben used to tell me all of funny stories from when I was little, especially the story of when I would stop at nothing to pet the kittens in the tree. Ben had touched everyone's lives in some shape or another.…

Once we arrived in Kelowna, we were able to stay with Lyndees girlfriend. Since it was a Monday, not much was open, so we ended up walking over to a place just down the street from where we were staying. I remember feeling guilty for missing work, but I told myself to make the most of it, and just have fun. As i was getting a drink - a guy accidently bumped into me, and spilled his drink. He apologized a few times, and said that his friends and him would like to buy us a drink as an apology. I told him that it wasn't necessary and that his apology was more than enough. As I was about to walk away - a tall, blond hair, blue eyed guy walked up, and introduced himself as Brad. He was wearing a bright blue shirt, dark jeans and white shoes. I will never forget the feeling I got, when I seen him for the first time. I tried not to make it obvious, and I've never admitted this before, but I was mesmerized.…

    Hot Potato Monologue

So, what did we do? We scavenged the refrigerator for a raw potato, stuck it in the microwave for ninety or so seconds, and then proceeded to toss the steaming hot vegetable back and forth, attempting not to burn our hands in the process, until we collapsed on the floor, dying of laughter from the hilarity of our little game. That day, I found myself feeling more comfortable and at ease around this person whom I had just met, than I did around most people. Our personalities just clicked. Little did I know that that day would embark the start of a strong friendship that formed who I am…

Everyone has their own story, each one as unique as the next. Every day we encounter different people who have different experiences and different views of the world. Some, however, are closer to our stories than others. And when we meet someone extremely different from us, we tend to respond by finding the similarities in ourselves and them. Growing up with a dad in the military, and even after he left it, I lived in many different places. In every place the people were different. Every time we moved, I found myself attempting to learn how to fit in with this new group of people. This has made it easier for me to become friends with people I share almost nothing in common with. During my time living in Pennsylvania, my best friend was a girl…

I am most certain that the majority of students have or had a friend they have known for years. Someone they can be themselves around without any judgment. Well, I used to have a special friend similar to the described description. My former friend was one of those friends who are difficult to find and lucky to have. He and I had an abundance of similar interest. Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end, and this friendship was at its end. At this very day, I am still wondering as to what happened to our perfect friendship. I may never know the reason, however, I can bring some clarity into my understanding of this discontinued friendship. Throughout this memoir, I will describe my friendship with Anthony, analyze it through many perspectives, and compare how I felt three years ago to my current feelings.…

We met on a rainy day at recess when the other kids were bullying me. I was being kicked around like a hacky sack not knowing what was happening. After I finally got loose I ran to somewhere safe and the next thing I saw was him, Simon. When he saw me crying, he brought the joy back to me. He said encouraging stuff, like “You do know that the only reason they are bullying you is because they have been bullied themselves. If you ignore them for some quite time they will forget all about you. Hey, why don’t you spend lunch with me tomorrow?” Me slowly lifting me head said “sure.” That day forward I spent every day eating lunch with him, laughing and having a great time. Every day was a new adventure with him not knowing what was going to come next.…

It is amazing how much of a difference one year can make. People I can now call my best friends, I did not even know last year or the years before. I remember our trip to the Woodlands in sixth grade. We sat around the campfire singing songs and talking till it was pitch black. That was the turning point of new friendships being discovered. This year I took a trip to Mt Lassen with my outdoor survival skills class. It was a really fun and a experience of a lifetime. When we hiked the mountain with winds, rough terrains, and when we finally reached the top, I…

Nagato could also channel one of the abilities of the Six Paths Technique through each corpse. Obito also applied this technique, though he used reincarnated jinchūriki. Their eyes sported the Sharingan and Rinnegan, in identical fashion to Obito, and had their tailed beasts temporarily re-sealed inside them, though the Uchiha would not have them use the powers of the Six Paths Technique.…
