ABSTRACT:
India and subsidy go a long way in terms of their association, India being a developing country cannot do away with subsidy. But reducing the subsidy and only giving it those needy is a must in times of global crisis. The current account of India depends on the amount of subsidy is provides for various products such as fuel, Electricity and others. And among them fuel subsidy such as on diesel, petrol and kerosene take a bulk of India expenditure. Our study plan to find ways of reducing subsidy by introducing Petro card, National ethanol Blending policy and linking Aadhar card to income of individuals.
