Of Mice And Men Book Report
“Of Mice and Men” is a tragedy-fiction novella written by American author, John Steinbeck. The novel follows the story of two men, Lennie Smalls, a migrant worker with a mental disability. To make up for his mental handicap, Lennie has incredible strength. Traveling with Lennie, is George Milton, also a migrant worker, who is almost the exact opposite of Lennie, in both stature and mental capability. Lennie’s strength and his inability to tell right from wrong is dangerous, so George looks out for Lennie to make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble. The two of them eventually end up working at a farm in Soledad, California, dreaming to get enough money so they can buy a place, and as Lennie puts it, “Live of the fatta the lan.” This dream
