Nursing Leadership Pros And Cons
Nurses are leaders in the healthcare field. Leaders must be effective and this program encourages students for this role. In my opinion, leadership grow out through life experiences. I particularly loved this course because the instructor included interview responses from many local leaders in the nursing community that offered individual perspective on their leadership style and how they became a leader. Competencies were met on this course through development of the capstone project and completing a written or oral assignments on various topics that are integral to nursing. I also learned about the pros and cons of the different leadership styles. The course allowed me to self-evaluate the type of leader that I am. It was empowering
