MS/MPH Dual Degree In Nursing Education
The special MS/MPH dual-degree program is designed for future health care and public health leaders. This health care degree should be completed in three years of full-time study. There are no part-time options available at this time. This program offers unique networking and professional opportunities. Those who graduate are eligible to sit for national certification exams related to advanced public health administration. This master degree's curriculum adopts an innovative and interdisciplinary approach to public health solutions. All students must complete nine core courses that cover essential public health competencies. These classes provide a foundation for advanced coursework. For instance, students will be introduced to health care policy, law and ethics. These course present students with common ethical and legal dilemmas faced by health care leaders across the country. Students learn about the formation of state and federal policy. They also learn how changing health policies are impacted patients and the health care industry.
