Also, the quality to recognize and improve the nursing curricula to meet current health care challenges is an advantage for all, including stakeholders - students, administrators, colleagues, and patients (Hesook, 2014). It is essential that nurse educators instill in students the standards of quality, safety, and professional excellence of the existing and future challenges in care delivery. For example, teachers sometimes fail to engage students' in the critical thought processes and development of the clinical judgment that students so need at the point of care (Grbach,2011).

For example, the vital role of a high-quality nursing curriculum prepares nurses for current and future care delivery system by focusing on a particularly crucial component in clinical education (Abedini, Johari Bin sihes, Kamalzadeh & Abedini, 2011). It is important that nurse educators achieve particular goals, nurse educators must endeavor to provide the curriculums that reflect current knowledge and increases the nursing students’ capacity to develop knowledge and practical skills adequately to prepare them for future practice (Abedini, Johari Bin sihes, Kamalzadeh & Abedini, 2011). Addressing the gaps between theory and practice is crucial. For example, the curriculum development for the DNP program starts at the level of the nursing school’s curriculum committee as with other nursing programs. To be persuasive, persistent, and possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential for curriculum development requires strong leadership skills. It is imperative that curriculum development and implementation remain current by continuing forward, utilizing an extensive multilevel approval process, involving both internal and external review after developing the curriculum (DeCapua (2015).     Nursing as a career is chosen for many different reasons. Some are interested in the human body, and others want to help those in need. The nursing experience is one not easily forgotten, but often taken for granted. Nurses and their value have been weighted more heavily in the past 10 years for its relevance to the survival of medicine. I would give education when it was warranted. For instance, if a patient had received a new Foley catheter and was going home with the catheter I would education them on home use. After my transition to professional nursing I recognized the legal responsibility to safe guard the patient. After this class I increased the need to make evidenced based practice (EVP) guidelines applicable to every aspect of my nursing care. My interactions with patients during this class involved how I could use EVP to safe guard my patients and provide a high level of professional nursing care.     As previously mentioned, an educator should identify weaknesses in their current practice, which should be modified to enhance their future instructional practices and facilitate learning among various populations (Oerman, 2015). At the end of the learning activity, I clearly failed to provide the nurses adequate time to complete the evaluation questionnaire, which could have been the reason that 75% of the nurses failed to provide feedback regarding future learning needs. In my opinion, this questions was critical, because as a future nurse educator I want to ensure that learners are provided with activities that enhance their professional development and clinical practice (Billings & Halstead, 2016). As a result, I plan to allow future participants at least 15 minutes to complete a similar evaluation questionnaire. In addition, I failed to allow the nurses to provide feedback regarding the appropriateness of the learning environment.
