Noble Cause
It was December the 25th, the Christmas Day.
The day on which we had planned to do something special, something different, something we haven’t done so far.
So we started thinking about what can be done which could make us and others happy.
And suddenly this idea popped up in our mind, to visit an Orphanage and donate groceries, clothing’s, stationeries etc.
So we started to plan, asking the teams in Equitable Pune, if they would be interested, because we believed that more the people more we can contribute to them.
We started to find out orphanages which are situated near by. And we found one, went there and fixed our appointment to visit them in the New Year 2014.
Now we had everything perfectly planned. Our appointments were fixed.
Next we started to work on things to be bought to donate, and things to be brought from home.
Since we had good number of people somewhere around 10-12, so the contribution was good and we could get good amount of things.
We have been reading and listening since childhood that God loves a Cheerful Giver. The people who came forward for this Noble Cause did it joyfully and lovingly.

We had books in stationary. We bought rice, wheat etc. in groceries and we got clothes from our home. So the contribution made by us was good enough.
Finally the day arrived; it was 19th of January. We reached Salvation Army in the afternoon.

Salvation Army, Pune is a Boys Home that nurtures orphans, or kids with one parent who came in from out of town looking for work in Metropolitan cities.
It is a Hope House that creates and provides opportunity for nurturing the children whilst maintaining contact with parents and family, providing help for them to break habits and learn true care for the children.
There are in total 40 boys at present in the Salvation Army Hope House. The Salvation Army is a Christian evangelical organisation committed to social action and the children belong to all caste, creed and religion.
