New-type Automatic Quenching Production Line Put into Operation
Advanced heat treatment technology can effectively guarantee the quality of products for steel ball manufacturers. Our products are widely applied in metallurgy, cement, water coal slurry and other fields. Their hardness and corrosion resistance must reach certain standards. With the rising sales, the original 8 heat treatment can no longer satisfy the requirements of production. After company leaders carefully studied and discussed, the purchase, installation and adjustment of new quenching production line was in preparation since March this year. The hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of high chromium alloyed casting balls can be great improved after quenching process. After a series of preparing work, the new automatic quenching production line was finished in middle July and would formally be put into operation in late July. This new automatic quenching production line was proved to be stable, reliable with easy maintenance and low failure rate. The daily capability was 5 tons more than before, increasing by 20%. It totally reached expected imagination. The use of new automatic quenching production line marked the big step Kaiyuan Company had taken in heat treatment system, thus improving Kaiyuan Company’s comprehensive ability, consolidating industrial status and laying a solid foundation for our company to stand out among various cast grinding balls enterprises. A major part of this work involved the project drawings using 3D software of choice-Pro Engineer wildfire. This required a good knowledge of the programme and technical drawings as a manual of a step by step process to produce the said machine by means of the drawings in 2D and 3D formats will be made available. It should also be stated that while this is a project with customized dimensions, design and style, I examined some existing machines and considered their advantages, limitations and the simplest way to apply concepts which are cost efficient to my design.
