I am excited to be considered as a member of the National Junior Honors Society. Academics, leadership, service, and character are all important aspects of society. It is essential that we exhibit these traits, so it is my personal goal to show these traits in my daily life. In addition to the demanding school work and rigorous musical training, I serve the elderly and the little ones.…

Also, through my research, I have found out that National Honor Society helps students to achieve scholarships that are necessary to get into a good college. So basically, National Honor Society helps you by having you help the community around you. That's the most I like about this club. It gives you a sense of responsibility, as well as a reason to be proud of yourself.…
I possess the characteristics that the National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) is based upon, like Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.I take criticism with an open mind, I put others ahead of my own needs. I am as honest and reliable as I can be. I never judge others by the way they look, and I respect them, consider their fells and hold concern for them. I love to learn and learning new ways to think, I also love spending time helping others. I was told that I am a good leader because of my love to help others. I always try my best at everything I do, while having as much fun as possible. I just want to be the best I can be, and I believe NJHS will help me with that dream.…
Being a member of Science National Honor Society has been a dream and aspiration of mine since the start of my high school career, and being able to apply to it, is an honor by itself. Throughout my whole academic career, I have always excelled at science, and it is by far my favorite subject. In the future, I plan to take 5-6 science courses at Quincy High, and I plan to pursue my dream of using my science knowledge to help others in the community and around the world. If I was to be accepted to SNHS, it would be the first large step to help me become the greatest person I could ever imagine myself to be, and it will enable myself to give back to the community through science. Being in SNHS would impact me as a student of Quincy…
As a student of Newton-Conover High School, I am honored of being among those who qualify for The National Honors Society. Throughout my years in school, I have always wanted to exceed and pursue in my education. My goals in high school were to be accepted into different programs and societies based on my excellence performed during school. I have been a member of The National Beta Club since middle school and continue to be apart of. I have looked forward to opportunities just like these since I was in elementary school. Being apart of this society will not only help me today or tomorrow but in the future as well. I feel like I fit well into this society because I love serving for the community as well as being a leader and helping others out. I would be more than happy to accept this honor of being accepted into The National Honors Society because I have worked my hardest in school and out of school to become a succeeding individual each and everyday.…

Since The National Honor Society is dedicated to helping the needy, children, the elderly and non-profit organizations. Over the past years as a scholar, I believe that I have demonstrated all four principles: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.…
I wish to become a member of the National Honor Society because of the way it forms the leaders of our school. NHS promotes strong leadership, and community activism in young high school students. I believe I encompass the NHS values in my everyday life. NHS is an amazing program that helps the school and community. I am always looking to challenge and better myself. NHS would help me to accomplish this, by shaping me to become a better role model for all SPASH students. I am a confident, kind, and hardworking student who uses my leadership every day to help the school and…
First of all, it is a great honor to even be nominated for NHS. When I got the letter saying I was nominated, I felt a little relieved. I felt relieve because this is it. This is why I’ve worked so hard in school; this is why I spend countless hours doing homework. I realized that all of my hard work is finally paying off. I could help the NHS by dedicating my own time to participate in fundraisers, encouraging other students to do their best on their schoolwork, and try their best in everything that they do.…
Here are some examples of my service to my community. During my 8th grade year in Elena Christian Jr. High School, both my classmates and I, we decided to do a beach cleanup. We chose the beach across from Water Gut. It was a wonderful experience because I was able to help out my community in a positive way. I volunteer and participate with the Junior Meteorology Club of Elena L. Christian Junior High School. I help with certain fundraisers such as; bake sales, car washes and collecting donations. I like to be there for people who are in need because it shows people that I am a caring and loving person. I also volunteered at the Agriculture Fair of 2010. I was helping out the Virgin Islands Police Department booth, assisting the police cadets, police officers, lieutenants and as well as the commissioner. Both my mom and I, we donated funds for Haiti at the VIPD in Frederiksted.…
