My U-10 Girls Soccer Team
The experience I want to tell you about today is when my U-10 (ages 8-9) girls soccer team that I coached won the Championship game. Throughout the soccer season we had practice twice a week for 12 weeks and games every saturday morning for eight weeks. At the first few practices I learned a little bit about each player and found out whether they had played soccer before or not. With every practice and game our team became better and better. We actually lost all of our games before tournaments. Through coaching these girls though I learned that the more we got to know each other and learn each other's strengths and weaknesses the more we became a well developed team.
