My Sophomore Year
I high school I was also very involved within my school and community. During my Sophomore year I founded and became president of the programming club for the remaining three years. This club was a huge success and has significantly prepared me for the work I have done as a TA at WIT. Over the summer of my Junior year I interned at BAE. Myself and a few other interns fixed up old computers for the community, we even got to keep one at the end. I was also heavily involved with my local church where I volunteered on a constant basis, helping out with blood drives, fund raising events, being a teaching assistant, and also a CCD teacher. As a supporter of renewable energies I was also a member of the green club for my Junior and Senior years.
