My Life After High
My Career “Life after High School”
After high school, I have two possible career plans that I can to take on after I graduated from high school. I want to go to driver-training school in the summer time, so that way I will have my permit but I’m going to wait until I turn 18 next September, than go back to get my license . I also plan on filling out scholarships that’s going to help me pay for school. And in January I also plan on filling out my FASFA Aid that could help pay off college the whole time I’m there. Then my first choice is me going to college to be an art director and my second choice is going for culinary art. I love the passion of it, just knowing that I can pick up a pencil and paper and describe what I love or like or even describe the way I’m feeling. I also plan on going into the real world with my Best friend Char’Dinea. We both know how to draw, but we both going to the same college for different things. The college that we are planning to go to is Wayne County Community College District, for two year. Then we are transferring over to either Wayne State University, Saginaw Valley or a different university that accept our major, so that we can finish the years up to get the degrees we want. The whole purpose of being an art director is to get a job function of: theater, advertising, marketing, publishing, film, television, internet, and video games. It’s a big campus and I will need to keep a 2.0 or higher to stay there. By it being a Community College, they don’t have any dorms rooms so we decided that we are going to get a nice apartment together and go half on the rent. I want to found a job close to the college or the apartment we choose to rent out. The job I’ll choose from have to be legitimate job that pay a decent amount of money and that pay for my dental and health care. While I’m working I will maintain myself to school by: studying, school first party later, and help others as I will soon to need. I will major in art marketing

After all their hard work, they have nothing to show for it. One researcher concludes that “among the members of the class of 2010, just 56% had held at least one job by spring…only about half said that their first job required a college degree” (Rampell 293). With so many unemployed college graduates, it’s important to choose a promising career field.…

I became a counselor in training for one summer and I found out what I wanted, not to be a counselor. I was perfect for the job, went to camp consecutively each summer, was energetic, was a great team player, worked well with children. But I felt I was needed somewhere else. Last summer I was offered a short term job, sorting files onto a computer. I was very professional, well organized, attentive to detail, but when I had completed my assignment I was done working there. I know now I do not want to work in an office. With each job or adventure I become more certain with my abilities and aware of what I want to do. UWRF was my first college acceptance letter I had received in December and since then that is the university I see myself accomplishing the most in. Someone once told me to choose a major based on my avocations and accomplishments. I have taken diverse, challenging classes through high school, that is my reasoning for going in as undecided. When I come to UWRF this fall, I will be a sheet of paper, with writing on the back that sticks out to the blank side. The written side are decisions that brought me here, and the blank side is for the memories that will be created at…

I realized that I would not be able to live an abundant life getting paid minimum wage. I knew that if I wanted to make a difference in my life, I would have to go back to school.…

First off my main goal is to go to a good college. I really want to come out of high school with a high grades. I know with high grades I’m going to have a lot of options for schools. I would try to go to a maritime school or university to get a bachelors degree in computers or an associates in art. I don’t know which I want to go for first, I’ll decide later. I’d choose those areas because art is something that I’ll always enjoy. It’s one of those things where it’s all about you and what you want done, its fun and you have something to show for after. It’s like writing in the ways of getting feelings down to remember but in a visual form. I choose computers because not only does math come easy but it’s also an important branch. Think about how often everybody uses computers and how fast technology improves. Then I choose to become a seaman , seafaring is for the intelligent, the resilient, the disciplined, and the brave because these are the type of young people who can better prepare themselves for the hard life of seafarers. All of these will leave a lot of options for jobs and all in categories I love, but I only have to choose one then finally I decided to choose to go to a maritime school, because I want to become an officer in the ship someday and to earn money and my dream is to travel around the world. I have always been curious about other cultures and the differences between people in other countries. It would be amazing to travel the whole world.…
