My Grandpa
My Hero Their are a lot of heroes out there some fake like Superman, Batman, and all the other we sometimes wish we could be, then there are the real heroes like firemen, policemen, and our troops who put their life on the line every day. One of my heroes happens to be my Grandpa, He served in the Korean War, he was the first person in his family to attend college, and he always puts his family first. My Grandpa fought in the Korean War when he was about 20 years old , he was there for almost 2 years but he was able to come home early because he was always fighting in the front lines or very close to it so he could come home early. When he wasn't fighting he would be making communication lines instead. He also received a bronze star while he was there for saving someone's life, he has never told the actual story of what happened just that he saved a life. He was also the first person in his family to attend college, he attended the University of Utah to become a Engineer. He had to put his education on hold because of the Korean war, Which wasn't such a bad thing considering he was paying for college all on his own, his family was very poor growing up. When he returned he was determined to finish college when he returned home and he did, which I think is pretty amazing he was so determined to do that when he was the first person in his family to do so. My Grandpa always puts his family first and loves his family so much and that it is one of his favorite things to do. One way I know he does and that really touches me is because of my brother Dax, He has cerebral palsy so he can't walk or talk are do things like that as well as not having complete control of his muscles and can be a pain to watch sometimes. but my Grandpa is always willing to watch him and he loves it and so does my brother, my brother always gets a huge smile on his face when he sees him and just seems to have the best time with him . that's how he is with everyone in our family always

One kind of hero that exists all over the world is the everyday hero. The person that I consider my everyday hero is my mother. The qualities that make her my hero are her way of doing things, and also how she sacrifices herself for me. For example, she is responsible and shows her stronger side in front of us when we are facing difficult times. Also she is so lovely that almost everyone likes her when they meet her. She always says to me that her duties are to look after me but at the same time to give me the freedom to make mistakes and find bright sides of my mistakes. The way that she influences me is that I see that sometimes she leaves what she is doing for her to take care of me. Even though many people argue that heroes are not real, I will disagree with them because I believe that everybody has a hero who protects them and looks after them.…

And Soldiers, they fight for our country, even if it means dying. Everyone's a hero, in everyone's opinion.…
