There are many differences between the movie and the book. First the positive points: This film attaches faces to Scout, Jem, Miss Maudie, and Dill, since no description of their faces is given in the book. Also, the film has some genuinely hilarious moments, particularly the scene where Scout is dressed as a ham and walking through the forest. Another good point is that the acting was superb and a treat to watch. Gregory Peck, who played Atticus, was captivating. The film is cast very well. The novel does not give physical descriptions of Scout, Jem, Miss Maudie, and Dill, but the film characters were believable. The actors look like what we would expect them to look like.…

I was relieved to read that she was not punished or something after her true sex was revealed, she was actually rewarded with a military pension instead! Unfortunately, it wasn’t; it was actually inspired by a woman from a popular folk song, but her story was very captivating…

The first scene is set at night time at the Great Wall of China and gives out a feeling of sinister and danger. The only characters which appear are Shan Yu, his eagle, the Huns that attack the great wall, as well as the Chinese guard who tries to escape and give signal. The music and sound effects also helps creating this more creepy and dangerous scene; the second scene moves to the Emperors palace cleverly and gives out a very grand and royal feeling. The transition is also very ingenious as lots of realistic camera angles have also been used to show out such feelings and the characters’ characteristics. The third scene moves to Mulan’s house which is a total different feeling and event happening, it introduces what a girl Mulan is, which doesn’t fit into the Chinese community, the sound effects also suggests the personality of Mulan.…

The woman is under attack by the Sepoys and one of her slaves helps them run away. "Golab Khan, seeing our perilous situation amidst the increasing flames, and that every moment was precious, with his characteristic presence of mind and quickness, had suddenly thought of a plan by which to draw away the mob, who, after having satisfied themselves with all the plunder they could get, were every moment becoming more eager in their search for us. He boldly went up to them, won their confidence by declaring himself of their faith, and willing to give us up into their hands. He assured them it was useless to continue their search in the house; but if they would all follow him, he would lead them to a haystack, where we had been concealed." The family is safe in hiding but team up with other families to defeat the Sepoys. " Active preparations at the same time went on in organising a field force. At length all was in readiness, and the order for the march was hailed with delight; sanguine were our hopes that a fortnight, or at the most three weeks, would see our gallant little army on its victorious return. With many and oft-repeated good wishes and prayers, we saw them depart. On the night of the 27th May they marched…
