Mozart Biography Essay
Johonnes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart was Mozart’s full name. Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 with his mother Anna Maria and his father Leopold Mozart by his side. Mozart was born in Salzburg, Austria where both of his parents lived. According to Volker’s Biography Mozart was often called “Wolfgang Amadeus” or “Wolfgang Gottlieb” (Boehm). He was also known as a prodigy or a young one endowed with special qualities.
Mozart’s childhood wasn’t like most kids’ childhoods. His was very busy and chaotic. He was always playing the piano and his father was always there by his side to help him out. He has been playing the piano, like his father, since he was four years old. According to “Music History 102” Mozart played the piano and composed music for 31 years until he died(Sherrane). He had a rough childhood from all of the pressure his father put on him but looking to where he made it, it was well worth it.

Mozart, unfortunately, became very ill with a miliary fever. He had been sick for about a month and died on December 5, 1791. He was very young when he passed, about 35 years old. He died in Austria, as he was born in, but in Vienna. He had a requiem with his Roman church for his death. He died a pauper, which is a very poor person, but he got a proper burial.
Mozart’s legacy will forever live on. His play “Marriage of Figaro” will be in remembrance of him. “This play was his big hit, a stage comedy with his music in the musical” says songfacts.com.
