The Princess Bride is a fantasy movie with a little bit of action and romance thrown in. There is a lack of loyalty throughout the movie but it also delivers a message of the meaning of loyalty, friendship and family. The message that The Princess Bride delivers is a simple one - that true love conquers all.

She is beautiful by name and by nature. Westley is payed by Cary Elwes. He is an honest and hard working man who loves Buttercup with all his heart and the director placed Elwes very well in this character. Prince Humperdinck is played by Chris Sarandon and his character is selfish and in everything for himself. Chris Sarandon did a great job of portraying this evil prince. Vizzini (Wallace Shawn), Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) and Fezzik (the late Andre' the Giant) round up the other main characters. I wouldn't change any of the actors who were placed into these roles except, if the movie were re-made today in 2015, I think that Chris Hemsworth would make a great Westley.
What I really liked about this movie was the witty script and acting. It made it very entertaining and easy to watch. It was full of action and sword fighting and the way the camera did close ups of the action scenes was really detailed and made it feel like I was there too.
The only negative of the movie was the romantic scenes. There weren't too many of them but either you love them or you hate them. I dislike them a lot!
Overall, I really liked The Princess Bride. The good points were the acting and actions scenes. The bad points were the romance scenes. I would recommend this movie to people 13 years and older. A few special effects were thrown in which is always good in a fantasy movie. If you're looking for a movie to fill in a few hours,
