I. Introduction

Computers are what give colors to our lives right now. Without it, we are nothing but dust in the wind. Have you ever wondered where it came from or who are the persons behind the gadgets you are using right now? Also wondered, how did they get into it? There are many questions that answered by this movie.

The first scene shows that Steve Jobs (Noah Wyle) was completely different from Steve Wozniak (Joey Slotnick), the narrator and comrade of Jobs. It also shows what motivated them to be what they are now. Later on, as the movie gets crucial, Steve Wozniak compared Bill Gates to the Evil Big Brother who ran everything based on the 1984 book, “Fire in the Valley” by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine, which shows the rebellion of the downtrodden masses with that of EBG’s leadership. It was published on a newspaper by Mercury News, a news-casting network at those times. The next following scenes showed how Bill Gates and Paul Allen (Josh Hopkins) got the MITS Altair machine, one of the rare machines ever invented. There is a part where Steve Jobs underwent an Anger

As I started to read the poem “In my computers” by Alan P. Lightman, I did not understand what the author wanted the readers to understand; however, I reread it several times and I started to figure out several thoughts. One of the first thoughts that came into my mind was that he is obviously talking about technology, but he is talking way beyond technology. He is talking about the distinctive programs that computers share today with us humans. The programs that today computers share are not common and definitely not like the ones we used to have in the old days; in the old days there were not even computers. With today’s technology, computers can show us the new world. We do not have to get ready and go to see what is happening to the world. We just need to take a look to our computer and let technology show us the nature, the people, and everything that surround us.…

It’s understandable how important computers are in our life. However, we shouldn’t let them take over our life. “In the past the man has been first”, and it should stay like that. We are in charge of the computer, and not the other way around. The web should be used to deepen the thoughts of our brains instead of letting the shallowness of our thoughts deepen googles search…

But they shouldn’t love it too much, because if you stare and are too close to the computer for far too long, your eyes begin to hurt and you become shot sighted. This is so because your brain decides that you don’t need to be able to see things far away and only see thing that are close to you.
