Newco’s management team has diverse experiences, with extensive experience in fields such as venture capital, information technology, investment banking, database development, design, and Internet applications. The management team also has strong ties to the financial industry. The connections and experiences of Newco’s management team will help to market their product to the financial corporations. One of the main client targets of the product is investment banks and financial corporations; therefore the management team’s experience in the investment banking field can help market and guide the product for successful entry into that market. Among the outside directors is a PhD holder of economics, as well as, a former lawyer from the university of Chicago that has investment banking experience as well. Both of these outside directors will be able to provide a unique perspective to the management team. On the downside, neither the president nor the founders are technically experienced in the IT field, rather most of their experience is within the financial industry, which would be a weakness to the management team considering that their product is highly technical.…

The company which I have chosen is Holden and the product is Commodore. Holden is the Local Company of Australia. This company had successfully completed its 60 years last year in 2008. And at this occasion company had launched the limited edition of Holden Commodore SS V-Series 60th anniversary. The marketing planning is done on the basis of the information provided by the company on the websites, news articles, broachers and journals. This marketing plan covers all the information like mission statement of the company, the situation analysis of the company and the product. The analysis is done both with the internal and the external environment taking into consideration the market, and various environments like the competitive, economic, socio-cultural, political, technological and demographic. Later in this marketing plan SWOT analysis of the company is done and the critical issues have been discussed. A study of marketing objectives and marketing strategies such as target markets, product strategy, pricing strategy, promotion strategy and distribution strategy of the company and the product is also done in the plan. And at last recommendations for any change in the company strategy and plan is given along with the implementation plan. The company has been the Australia’s top car selling company and Commodore has been the top selling car in Australia from 1996. As the company is the local company of Australia it has a good dominance over the market in the country and people also rely on the company very much. Holden basically comes under General Motors, and which ever car is exported outside Australia by this company is tagged under the brand name of Chevrolet and other brands of General Motors. Now the company is deciding to enter the international market with its own brand name and also many researches are going on within the company to make hybrid cars for the future.…

This happen for organizations needing to purchase millions of dollar in inventory, parts, or raw materials, and it occurs for organizations wanting to establish a long-term relationship with just one supplier. Relationships among businesses in B2B are very important. These relationships, characterized by trust and continuity, extend to the IT realm. In the B2B business model, you must provide a level of integration of your IT systems with those of your business partners. Before you approach potential lenders and investors, I think you should gain some sort of line of credit. Lenders and investors want to know if you can manage your money and pay your debt. I think you should also write a detailed business plan. A business plan is an outline for your business and it’s operations, finance and pros and cons of the market and the product. Lenders want to know the ins and outs of the product/service and the profitability of it. And lastly, do your homework on your backers. Find out if you would need a bank loan, Venture Capitalist or Angel Investors for the needs of funding your…

This report will compare the marketing strategies used by Mercedes Benz and BMW both of which are German car manufacturers. Mercedes-Benz will discontinue the CLK model after 2010 and replace it with a coupe and convertible based on the new E-class. In comparison BMW has been extending its product portfolio by including smaller and less profitable cars. During 2008 Mercedes-Benz USA appointed 27 dealers to open special AMG performance centers. BMW created an import/export operation which is the only U.S. manufacturing plant, it is located in Spartanburg South Carolina. For promotion during 2008 Mercedes Benz announced a 100 million dollar TV advertising campaign to promote its C-class and M-class premium SUV. BMW planned to do the exact opposite in the US, BMW announced they will heavily focus on the Internet, interactive marketing and print. Mercedes Benz has aggressively priced its new GLK class which is a premium medium SUV, with an entry price under $35,000. In contrast BMW is pricing its new diesels for profit, not volume, in the United States. BMW instead is shooting for higher profits, pricing its diesel vehicles above those of its major rivals.…
