My introduction
Write a recount about the most inspirational moment you have encountered
I sat in the chilling atmosphere of the courtroom. It was my first day as an intern witnessing the trial of a devastating accident that to a two year old boy. Joel Sonnenberg had burns over 85% of his body. He also lost his fingers on his right hand, his left hand entirely, his ears, and skull. It's was a miracle he didn't lose his life.
Within minutes the judge called the court to order and called Joel Sonnenberg to the stand to confront Reginald Dort, the truck driver who caused the accident that forever changed the Sonnenbergs' lives. There he was, Joel Sonnenberg, making his way to the stand with many gasps coming from the courtroom. “ 17 years after the accident I finally see the man who robbed me of my childhood. The man who caused so much pain and suffering to my family. The man who made me wonder if I will ever live a normal life with a wife and family. The man who made me spend my childhood days crying at home after school because I felt embrassed of how I looked. “ said Joel with tears in his eyes. I scanned the courtroom for his family members and I saw his father sitting there. He was staring right at Dort with anger in his eyes, and he had very right to.Reginald Dort was standing emotionless as Joel continued to speak.
“ All I can do is leave justice in the hands of god because that is what my family and I believe in it. Here I can be someone more, I can be the one who will not fill my life with hatred because hatred causes misery. It is not about the justice because I will leave Justice in the hands of god, that is what my family and I believes in.” Taking a deep breath he continued “It is the is the idea that we all have value, you and me, we are worth something more than the dirt but you chose to be dirt 17 years ago. You wanted to kill your wife in her car, which was right before us but ended up killing my childhood, which can never be taken back.I

He uses his words to talk about how forgiveness was evident. Krauthammer reveals that, “within 48 hours of the murder of their loved ones, they spoke of redemption and reconciliation and even forgiveness of the killer himself. It was an astonishingly moving expression of Christian charity,” (Krauthammer, 2015, para. 9). The author provides a detailed description of how the families responded to the one who ended their life. He uses the words “Christian charity” and “redemption and reconciliation” which generates an emotional response because it shows how forgiving the families where to someone who killed people that were close to them. Krauthammer gives the readers a chance to realize that even after something so horrific there is still sense of mercy that the families gave the…

The message I got from this was that not everyone is who they seem. Also if something seems too good to be true then most of the time it is. He was trying to show us to not believe everything you say or hear because everyone and everything has the power to hurt you. You can’t help to believe most things but you can prevent getting hurt. People in this world most of the time just think of themselves and what can help them like what they will get in the long run. Not saying that there isn’t good people in the world because there is but sometimes they have good intentions they just don’t come out the way they want. Like viola she wasn’t trying to hurt anyone she was just trying to stay safe even though she manipulated and hurt a lot of people it wall worked out for her in the…
