Parking on Campus
Parking on Campus is a problem when students entering Arkansas Tech University are allowed to have a car on campus. With every new student entering each year, parking is a problem. Arkansas Tech University is already limited the places for parking on campus and since new students are allowed to have cars. Many parking problems are exits all over the campus, Arkansas Tech University should set up more parking lots on campus, because it is more convenient for students to have more parking lots in this university.
More parking lots means more field, but the area of field is limited. Many different people want that field for different use. The students who do not have cars said, “We want more basketball courts, or tennis courts.” They do not care the parking lots because they do not need to park their cars. The cars’ amount on campus is increasing. In this situation, the parking problems are more important than others.

It will save the amount of time that students need to spend on walk. Also, it would help a lot when the weather is horrible outside. When it is raining or extremely cold then some people might not want to go to classes if they know that they need to walk a long way through the cold weather. But if they know that they are able to drive quite close to their building. Then, it will increase the chances of student attending classes in the horrible weather. Sometimes the dorms parking lots might be full so they need to find another parking lot which located the other side of the building. The main factor seems to be that freshmen are allowed to have cars, parking somewhere that permitted, or take risk to park illegally in other

College is a place where students go to get a degree in the field they want to fulfill their dreams. Since school is a positive environment students, shouldn’t get frustrated finding a parking space. Nevertheless, with new students attending college every year, we need to expand our parking area and add more lighting for the students and for the faculty. Although this may be minuscule on a bigger scale, the roading on our campus is key for everyday commuting. This is something we should worry about, because our students should feel as if their money is going to better resources. Some of the solutions that we can offer are better patch work on the roads, implementing more signage on campus. However, these changes will need appropriate funding.…

One of the most important negative aspects that I dislike about Montclair State University is the parking system. Most students at the University are aware that parking is indeed very difficult and can be extremely stressful at times. The worst part is that freshman and sophomores are required to park at the transit deck which is about a ten to fifteen minute walk. Parking in the transit deck is very time-consuming, and usually the reason most students are late to their first class.…

ASU parking is the biggest issue facing the students drivers. First of all, parking at ASU benign problem for me before anyone that I asked them about it. First issue, it not free for the students also, it’s expansive too. If you will park your car for 2 hours, you should pay $4, so $2 each hour. There are many colleges and university make their parking for free for the students like MCC Mesa community college, or at least they should make a discount for the student. I prefer If ASU make the parking for free, they should put something in the parking gate that can’t open if you don’t carry ASU ID.…

“I honestly do not have a problem with campus parking,” said Slater. “Every day I have to be on campus by 8:00am; therefore, parking is always available for me. When I am on campus, I make sure I stay until my day is completed. I live off campus so I have a black commuter parking pass, which allows me to park in various places. Most of my classes are in Wallace Hall or Patterson Hall so the parking area in front of those two buildings is where I park at most of the time. The only problem that I encounter with on campus parking is when I want to leave campus for lunch, and I come back and they are not any parks available. My problem is easily solved by going to another black commuter parking lot, but I might have to walk a long distance to my class. I do like the fact that after 5pm I do not have to worry about parking in a black commuter parking…

This memo evaluates proposed land use options raised by Oakmont City officials. An assessment of the financial and non-financial implications suggests that building a parking garage with fees favoring short-term parking potentially yields the most desirable outcome. This investment produces the highest net present value (NPV) and helps solve a parking space shortage. Earnings generated by the garage should be used to offset negative externalities associated with the project. Further analysis into the impact of price hikes on parking utilization, and the types of parking spots that will improve the current shortage is needed to strengthen this assessment.…

Suggest improving the college car parking space for students. We are pleased to submit the following proposal outlining our plan to improve the use of car parking space, provide more parking slots by building a car parking block at the parking area of sport complex and changing or redesign the parking space. This can help to ensure the arrangements for the limited car parking spaces available across our TARC main campus are more efficient, and reduce congestion in and around the campus. With this, more students will be choosing TARC to study because of the convenient car park in the college.…

Another serious advantage worth to mention is that physically closer to campus. It is ten times easier to access campus facilities when you live right there. Going to campus can simply be a hassle when you live in the surrounding area. Chances are that you will have a close place to park your car off-campus, unlike living on-campus. You might even be late for class simply due to the fact that you can't find parking. If you live on-campus, you can easily walk to classes, libraries, computer labs, cafeterias, etc. You don't have to waste time and money on driving to school, finding a parking space, and so forth. You can meet up any time but not worry about taking too much time on the driving.…
